Nice cool, car looks great, will the 400bhp come from just the Turbo upgrade or will you need other mods ?

I wish smile a list as long as my arm.

Bigger injectors 850cc I'm thinking, new fuel pump
Forged pistons and rods
New standalone ecu.

See, quite a few bit. A few priorities taking over this year but I've got the ball rolling with the turbo wastegate and manifold.

Proper batmobile, love it.

I wish I'd had a chance to own one of these after my MX5, something about having owned a mid-engined car (and I think this is the best way to do it...certainly the cheapest!) Sadly you can't stuff a child seat in behind the seats.

Thank you all for the props. Cant wait to start work once my life has settled down a little

The car is a Revision 3 kept in pristine order wink but most of us here are like that

I see, the rev5 spoiler suits it well! Not many clean SW20's around these days biggrin

The head was rebuild with low compression pistons, new gaskets, oil and water pump basically the whole works

Laggy but boy did it get going above 80!!!!! Ballistic!

Yeah, i'm hoping. 400bhp is conservative aim.

I also pull my finger out and got my wheel refurbed

From this

Bookmarked! I'll be watching with interest as I've just got a forged engine to drop into my rev 2 but it still needs a few upgrades (turbo and ECU) before it's running at full power. Hopefully I can pick some tips up from here.

I'm pretty sure I also followed your wheel refurb thread on imoc to get started on my own wheels laugh

The equips look decent. I've a set in my garage in need of a refurb. Did you re-use the original bolts? Mine have raised 'work' lettering I do'nt really want to lose!
