Hello E91 owners who've suffered the diversity amp locking issue. I'm a relatively new E91 owner, (330i M Sport manual late '05 with 183k miles on the clock).
My radio signal has recently taken a while to lock onto a signal...but I haven't had any locking issues yet. Is the radio a tell-tale sign? Would it be worth my while doing some preventative maintenance by having a lock and sealing it all up properly.
Cheers

It only takes five minutes to whip the spoiler off and on, so well worth a look and to seal it better.
I did notice on mine that the earth straps on the hinges were snapped so I'll replace them.
My radio reception isn't amazing but then it's crap round here no matter what car you're in!

It's going to be an expensive month.... tax and insurance are both due and the mot next month too.
All to be expected, however, I wasn't expecting to get a vibration which I'm suspecting to be the flywheel.
I can't complain really, it's done 138k, and 20k of them with a remap.
Also, the dreaded DPF warning has finally appeared too!
That might be disappearing in the very near future..... I've not made my mind up yet.
Aside from all of that, I'm still very much enjoying the car

All good things come to an end. After four excellent years of owning this car I decided I couldn't resist the urge of getting a new toy any longer!
Two or three times in the past I put it up for sale and then changed my mind.
It really is the perfect all rounder. Looks good, goes well, economical, cheap to run, huge spec, pretty much everything you could want. I've already spent countless hours trawling the ads, and am struggling to find anything I prefer!
So my current thought is why not improve on what I had, and a younger, big spec facelift model.
The hunt begins....
