I've just fitted the BMW Performance alcantara steering wheel cover, its much nicer than the plastic one and an exact match with the seats smile

Before and after...

Steering wheel looks good, was it easy to fit?

About 10 mins max.
There are 3 T20 torx screws behind the wheel to undo, then carefully free 2 plastic clips at the top and pull out the left hand side first. This is because the wires for the buttons are on the right hand side.
You then have just enough free wire to turn it round.
Each set of buttons is screwed onto the cover with another T20, undo those and swap onto the new cover and refit smile

Looks great, love the lights but not sure on the wheels or grilles.

My judgement is reserved on the wheels until they've been resprayed all one colour.
I like the grills because they match all the other black M Sport trim

Really like this, and IMO good value for what you paid for it. I've not seen a red 330d Touring before and it makes a great change from the masses of metallic 3-Series you see everywhere. Love the wheels too smile

I sat in both cloth and leather seats before buying, and found the cloth ones were much nicer.
I knew instantly that I didn't want leather after that.
I was really disappointed with the quality of the leather too, and 60k cars I sat in had completely worn bolsters which really put me off too
Really ? Mine with 130+k were perfect

Would probably balance it a bit, but they will probably be too low!

I like the wheels and grill. Not so sure about the rear bumper protector, perhaps it can be replaced with a clear protector instead?

Given it a damn good clean, wash, wax, hoover etc ready for the BMW show at Gayden tomorrow biggrin

In other news, I've added a Dension 500S for ipod/MP3 hard drive, just need it coding now.
I got rid of the horrible dealer/GB plates too, they did my head in!
Thats about all at the moment, I'm still enjoying not spending a fortune on modding a car... only a very short list of things to do left now (maybe a window tint, remap, and get the wheels sprayed one colour)

Looks awesome! Wasn't sure about the colour at first if I'm honest (sorry) but with the wheels, rear lights and everything it works.

You heading up to Gaydon with anyone?

After being very close to selling it over xmas, Ive decided to keep it.
I couldn't live with those nasty diamond cut faces any longer, so they had to go....

Just one pic at the moment due to lack of time, I'll get some better ones once its had a wash

Now that definitely looks better and really compliments the colour well. Currently looking for 335d Touring as the new family car but as with you finding the one with the right spec is a bit of an issue. Decided to wait now until LCI versions come under budget

A light tint is on the things to do list already smile
Ive got a pet hate for rear only tints, especially on estates as it makes them look like a van, so it will all windows (apart from the windscreen of course laugh )

Managed to grab a couple of better pics

I liked the alloys before, but you've done a good job with the new ones OP, they look better and compliment the red nicely. Also like the debadged rear, makes the rear look more neat and clean.
