Looking on AT I thought Id priced it quite well TBH.

Mine has 125k, CIC idrive and combox, manual 330d Touring, xenons, hifi, heated leather, FRM2, 55 plate for £7500
In comparison on AT at the moment there is:

06 plate, blue manual 330d M Sport with 120k, no idrive, no xenons, no heated seats £7000
55 plate, blue manual 330d M Sport with 88k, old idrive, no xenons, no heated seats £8500
07 plate, black manual 330d M Sport with 120k, old idrive, no xenons, no heated seats £7900
07 plate, black manual 330d M Sport with 80k, old idrive, no xenons, no heated seats £9000
07 plate, blue manual 330d M Sport with 62k, no idrive, no xenons, no heated seats £10000

I'd say mine is quite a bargain considering the CIC idrive and combox cost the best part of £1200 to upgrade, FRM2 is another £150, xenons would be a massive headache and big £ to add, same with heated seats, mine also has the hifi speaker option which not many have too

Sorry, forgot to put, next on the short list at the moment are MK5 Golf R32 or Mk5 GTI Edition 30, Passat R36.
Ive never had a VW, and those all take my fancy at the moment.
No doubt other options will be added soon too!

Ive had 5 Audi's, so know them well!
As much as Ive loved this 330d, there isn't much BMW that takes my fancy, however a 135i would do but its out of budget at the moment.
Funnily enough, I have just been offered a straight swap for a red 335d saloon, but its not got the newer idrive or xenons both of which I think are essential especially after having them on this one.
I just fancy something petrol and fun again but really struggling to find something that fits the bill.
That said, an E90 or 91 335i with the right bits on would be of interest

I finally got round to giving it a machine polish, the red is so bright again!
MOT tomorrow, then some new front tyres at some point in the near future.
Still thinking of selling it though, but struggling to find a good replacement

Had the car 3 years as of yesterday.
I've got to say, its still loved just as much as it was when I got it, and it still does everything plenty well enough.
In over 20 years of driving Ive owned 15 cars, and none already owned this one twice as long as any of the others, which says a lot for it!
Ive been tempted away of course, but in the end realised Id really struggle to get something as good an allrounder for the money.

Also had its 2nd problem during those 3 years (first being sticking rear calliper)
For a while one of the xenons was slightly more yellow than the other on certain angles, then coming home from work the other day I noticed it had gone really yellow....

Easily sorted with a new bulb, I got a pair so they matched but thankfully the new one was a perfect match to the other side any way, so got a spare now smile

Not interested thanks, I've got a matching set of non run flat Continentals, I definitely wouldn't want to put run flats back on!

I installed the Fiscube TV tuner.... I had TV on my Alpine in my old RS4 and used it quite a lot, it was always a nice option for long journeys to listen to something interesting that wasn't the radio or iPod. Plus the kids and mrs love it too!
They will definitely welcome it on our annual 600 round trip to Cornwall.
I got the Fiscube one because I wanted it to all be done through the idrive and controller without the need for separate stuff to use it, plus on the E91 its a headache using the BMW tuner because the aerials are built in the rear side windows which is far too much bother to change!

Lots more bits to come, I was close to selling it but decided in the end its just too good, so I'm going to freshen it up and do a few mods smile

Swapped my rear diffuser for an LCI one.
I'll post some pics once I've washed the car, I prefer this one as it doesn't just disappear under the back of the car

Night shot

After driving with it earlier, the weight didn't really make much difference but it is so much nicer to hold

This happened earlier for the first time ever!

I got the windows tinted a while ago:

And then I finally had the fun and games a lot of other Touring owners get to experience!
The remote locking just stopped working one day frown
Then there is the dilemma of do I cut into the rubber boots to check the looms and know you can never have them perfectly sealed or replace them, or bite the bullet and buy a new diversity amp which lives under the spoiler.
The amp is notorious for getting damp or totally soaked, due to the lack of sealant used when the car was built.

So first job was to check the amp to see if it was wet. It was bone dry with zero signs of any damp ever getting in.
Due to that, I reluctantly cut the rubber boots open only to find not a single damaged wire! Bugger.

A new diversity amp is around £250, most on eBay seem to go for around £120.
I found an E91 one from a 2014 car and made him an offer, I got it for £95. It turned up this morning, plugged it in and instantly the remote started working again.
Woohoo!! Now to get some self amalgamating tape to seal up the boots as best I can.
I have also gone to town with plenty of extra weather proof sealant, no water or moisture is ever getting in there now!

As you can see, the factory sealant is woefully crap:

It only takes five minutes to whip the spoiler off and on, so well worth a look and to seal it better.
I did notice on mine that the earth straps on the hinges were snapped so I'll replace them.
My radio reception isn't amazing but then it's crap round here no matter what car you're in!

It's going to be an expensive month.... tax and insurance are both due and the mot next month too.
All to be expected, however, I wasn't expecting to get a vibration which I'm suspecting to be the flywheel.
I can't complain really, it's done 138k, and 20k of them with a remap.
Also, the dreaded DPF warning has finally appeared too!
That might be disappearing in the very near future..... I've not made my mind up yet.

Aside from all of that, I'm still very much enjoying the car smile
