I'd love the facelift B10 3.3 but it was out of budget

Pulled into the garage to fill up this morning, followed in a facelift black E39 M5.

Man I want one.

I'm tempted to change to a late E38 740i Sport now. Kind of have a V8 barge itch. I care not about MPG, it's just other E38 costs to weigh up.... I wish I could have both!

CCV failed spectacularly over the weekend, all fixed now. Not cheap, especially with new tyres the week before frown

what were the symptoms btw? Sold mine a while back now! I do miss it, but the new CLK55 is helping. Drives very similarly but the interior isnt as nice a place to be.

Loads of white smoke from exhaust, intermittent loss of power. I do like the CLK55. Wanting a V8 now!

I saw an E38 740i earlier, they do look great still.

I've got a power problem on the 745i....won't rev past 6k rpm at the moment, it was really bad last week but seems to be getting better.....it happened on the drive to my holiday hehe

Already booked in for my indy to take a look but thinking it's something like a spark plug, fuel filter, coil pack or something similar. When cruising or driving normally (or even full throttle below 5500rpm or so) you wouldn't think there is a single thing wrong with it.

Potentially, or a failing coil pack, spark plug, fuel pump etc etc. I'm just going to have to wait a week until it gets looked at, I'll just have to drive without booting it and just hope it'll be alright. It did 1k miles last week and seems ok.
