As I have posted earlier, like all mass produced cars, the GT86 has been spec'ed and built to a set price budget. What I have tried to do with mine is to completely forget any sort of a budget, and see how good it could / can be (in my opinion, obviously).Slippydiff said:

My wife actually borrowed my car to do to the shops. At least she parked properly between the white lines
If my car has this effect on a Porsche man, then I must be doing something right

I've thoroughly enjoyed the standard car. When I first got it I was of the mind that it was too good to mess with and bought into the whole ethos of it's not the power and numbers which count, it's the fun. Which is/was true. But after nearly two years it's time for a change, and rather than bin this and shell out for another car I've decided to start modifying so I get a 'new car' out of my old car - which I know and trust.
I won't be going as far as Dave, but a turbo is not far off now.
