See now if Toyota had made the 86 look like that from day one, or even a muted version then I'd have bought on instead of an elise.

God knows how much you have pumped into it but it must be the nicest overall 86 in the country.

Than you Tim, I really appreciate your nice words smile As I have posted earlier, like all mass produced cars, the GT86 has been spec'ed and built to a set price budget. What I have tried to do with mine is to completely forget any sort of a budget, and see how good it could / can be (in my opinion, obviously).

Been shopping today ? wink

Caught my eye this afternoon, a very very cool car. I'm a Porsche man, but your car had me drooling. Wheels epic, brakes epic, body upgrades epic. Top marks for a stunning creation.

My wife actually borrowed my car to do to the shops. At least she parked properly between the white lines smile

If my car has this effect on a Porsche man, then I must be doing something right smile

I doff my hat to you Sir. bow
Outstanding progress. Will have to see it again. Impressed as always with your attention to detail, everything just hangs together so well.
An inspiration.

Even if i won the lottery, i'd buy a GT86 and it would look very similar to that wink

The first GT86 that I really like the look of.

Surely this is what the car is all about - a great base that the owner can develop to suit their needs - not cheap but allows people to create something unique

Yep. I'll admit I've changed my mind on this subject.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the standard car. When I first got it I was of the mind that it was too good to mess with and bought into the whole ethos of it's not the power and numbers which count, it's the fun. Which is/was true. But after nearly two years it's time for a change, and rather than bin this and shell out for another car I've decided to start modifying so I get a 'new car' out of my old car - which I know and trust.
I won't be going as far as Dave, but a turbo is not far off now. cool

Wow, what a difference the red tail lights make over the stock circa 2002 Lexus lights!

Great looking car smile
