Quick with predictable handling and low centre of gravity AND 35mpg....? I think that LordGrover's review is more representative of the car!!!!

Thank you! I do agree, I think that LordGrover's review was fantastic. I am actually really interested to see what Ollie Marriage has to say in the more in-depth review in the magazine itself.

The necessary parts have been procured to reduce the exhaust noise - just have to get the car back to Fensport for them to be fitted, and the mapping checked in case any changes are required:

The car has been great from day one - could not be happier. If I had to find one slight gripe, it is the hardness (or rather softness) of the paint. That unfortunately, though is a result of modern low VOC paint finishes.

I have had a few people try to 'burn me off', however they have had a rude awakening :-)

Depending on where you are located, kjackson88, a drive in it can always be arranged! I think the Lordgrover had a journey of approx 70 miles each way for his test drive

God knows how much you have pumped into it but it must be the nicest overall 86 in the country.

Than you Tim, I really appreciate your nice words As I have posted earlier, like all mass produced cars, the GT86 has been spec'ed and built to a set price budget. What I have tried to do with mine is to completely forget any sort of a budget, and see how good it could / can be (in my opinion, obviously).

I don't know of any TRD style spoiler with a brake light fitted, however, I could quite easily fit one of these

Thank you every one for the great comments . The good thing about the badges is they are only held on with double sided tape, so can easily be changed back. The thought behind spraying them black was two fold, one I am trying to totally de-chrome my car, and secondly, I wanted to add the T at the end for the turbo, but to keep it as subtle as possible.

Good to see that Adrian is still doing it, I've known Adrian since the days he was breaking Toyotas as AJS. I used to be into the Toyota tuning scene heavily, but not these days.

Having said that, my brother has a lovely TRD GT86 in black, and a UK spec AE86 which he has converted to a Trueno. I have transplanted a Supercharger engine into it, and it is undergoing a TRD N2 body kit conversion.

My brother is very keen to have the Turbo conversion done on his GT86, I have lost count of the amount of times he has talked about it. I will be sure to point him to the direction of this thread.

One more thing, how was re-mapping done? Via the OEM ECU or a MoTeC ECU? I know Adrian favoured the MoTeC system heavily, things have changed drastically in the tuning scene now though. Much can be done with OEM equipment.

Thank you Twincharge The car still used the original ECU. Using ECUTEK software, the ECU can be fully remapped. There is even the ability to add features like launch control, flat foot shifting and auto blip on down shifting, up to four different maps (selectable on the fly) and electronic boost control. Adrian is still a great fan of the MoTeC, but with the tune-ability of the standard ECU, it is just not worth the cost on a road car.

They are LED, and do flash orange.

Thank you for the kind words. As LordGrover stated, I have not posted on any forums for a while now - unfortunately there are too many people who use internet forums (especially the GT86 community) for their personal ego trips for me to want to be actively involved.

I still have my GT86 - it still ticks every box for me, and there is no other car currently available that would make me want me to replace it. The only 'change' I have made is to replace the Good Year tires with Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
