Nothing special but the car is filthy! the usual 40+mile B-Road commute to work and back,
It's still reliable as ever, i replaced the front number plate as my 3/4 got cracked also going to be getting some new tyres for the rear, the Maxxis MA-Z1's as i love them! I'am so wanting the do a trackday so much just so i know where i stand regarding the handling.

A few months ago i took the VXR out for a drive to the Evo Triangle and surrounding road's with a good selection motors, covered around 350 Mile's round trip and managed a respectable 26'ish MPG considering most of the time the car was getting driven hard everywhere!, here's a few selection of pictures, not got many as driving is more fun One of the Focus RS's was used on Top Gear when it had a drag race with the Golf R32

Just thought i'd update this, After the Wale's run, the VXR did a fine job daily duties but i kept looking at the Ford Fiesta Mk7 ST, and after doing some man maths and the VXR needing 4x Tyre's Disk's and Pad's all round and various body work issues, i decided to part ex it in,

13 plate ST-2 with '10550' showing upon arrival at my house (29/11/2014) in Spirit Blue. All i can say is that it's amazing. I'am really loving it so far, i was averaging 50.4 MPG at 70 MPH whereas the VXR was getting 32-34'ish. It's just had it's 1st service few month's ago at '10400' miles, had 2x new Bridgestone RE002's at the front and the rear's are the OE Bridgestone RE050A's which are pretty much brand new still. Been out for a spirited drive before, feel's like a go cart compared to the VXR.
I'am currently on 17.5k and it's bloody fantastic hot hatch. I've not done much apart from set of clean number plates and LED number plate lights along Genuine Ford Mats.
Just some pictures from a few week's ago,

Looks great! I had mine for over a year now and I'm still laughing while driving it.
Which number plate bulbs did you go for? I'm on the 3rd set now and still can't decide.
Cheer's. It's such a fun car to drive, i was going full banzai into some roundabouts the other evening whilst to weather was hot, i was giggling all the time, so controllable, adjustable and so confidence inspiring! love it! That's true haha, it's the sort off car that egg's you on, i'am planning on going to Wales in the next few week's to stretch its legs again Any plans for it?

I'd like the MP215 kit and and other Mountune goodies if funds would allow, but it's such a fantastic car out off the box so i'am not massively fussed about doing stuff to it, just use and abuse and enjoy it, which is one off the main reason's for buying it
Have you done anything to yours ?
Induction kit by AS performance for extra noise. Also upgraded front bulbs and interior ones.
There's a great thread by Adam about his ST

I went for osram night breaker but I'm thinking about hid kit.
My step-brother just bought st2 in the same colour as yours and to be honest, now I do prefer it over the white one.
The good old Osrams, I've had them in my all my previous cars apart from the Clio, as they had factory Xenons. The Osrams are really good bulbs, I'll consider them again as i was looking at some MTEC bulbs which are similer to H.I.D's i think. Nice! bet he's loving it it
So yesterday i took a drive out to Wales, the ST performed just as it should, it's such a cracking hot hatch on these road's. Covered 290 miles all in all and averaged 35 MPG and rarely dropped out off boost

Why thank you
I remember hearing a story from when the Evo Magazine guys where there years ago with various Super Cars. The cashier took a photo and hung it behind the counter, or something like that!
The ST is such a fantastic car, the way it can cover ground at such a speed and still inspire so much confidence is quite something for a 200 BHP hot hatchback. I've been around the "Triangle" in a well sorted Renaultsport Clio 182 and I'am fairly sure the ST can carry more speed and adjustability.

Time doesn't half fly when your having fun, and that's what's been happening with this little ST, it was due it's 2nd Service, so last week booked it in at the local Bristol Street Ford in Bolton for the 6th July, agreed the price, was told what was needed and what was included and to bring it down anytime after 08:30 in the morning, got there at 08:45 and was greeted with friendly helpful staff, 10 minutes later i was on my way. Bearing in mind i've never had a Dealership service my car so complete noob with the process as daft as it sounds :lmao:
Few hour's later i was back down there picking it up, quick turnaround that i would say
Current mileage is "22066". Roll on the next 12.5k miles, Mountune MP215 will likely be happening as the Girlfriend is kindly treating me in the next few months and i've ordered 2x Michelin Pilot Sport 3's for the front as the current 'Stone's have a few MM of tread left. Looking forward to giving them a workout in Wales in the next few week's.

[quote=mahoone]I went for ps3's as well. Very happy with that choice!
Grip is amazing in dry and wet. I think the ps3's are also slightly softer than the bridgestones therefore ride quality improved.[/quote
Happy to hear it
Just got them fitted before so can't wait give them a work out.

Promptly set around ringing some Garages, including National Tyre's which promptly said no to fitting, ended using local Monaco Motor's which i've used before, luckily they had no car's in, so 10 minutes later i was there

Was there 30 minutes and £20 later was home. Job well done. It was just as well they got changed because the Bridgestone's where perished on the inside's.

Not good!
Tracking and Alignment is fine too! happy days. Current mileage '22142' so hoping to get at least 12-15k out of these.

Managed to give these PS3's a work out on the way home from work trying to keep pace with this awesome motor on the local B-Road, good spirited drive indeed.

Renaultsport Clio 200. Very very good indeed. The ST is 'slightly' quicker on the straights but the corners is where the 200 is better than the ST i do think, and it's not even a Cup! serious car. We pulled over for nice chat so grabbed a quick picture.
Went to the Girlfriends house and grabbed a few more pictures,

Obviously with the cool little SportKa, remember my old work colleague having one around 5 year's ago, going to work and back over the nice road's. Such a fun car, alway's had a soft spot for them since.

Took a trip out yesterday evening whilst the weather was still decent, ended up on the B6522, Ingleton to Hawes and various other roads. Grabbed a few pictures.
