Was off work last week as a chip came off an old hammer and embedded itself in my leg! So cheered myself up with some new wheels sorry about the crappy phone pic

Nice car. One or two I just saw is for sale on piston heads, gone up a lot in price lately or are these tops prices 12-15K?
I remember they were easy to come by late 90s early 00s but much more rare now I imagine.

I thought they were asking for a lot. I think maybe getting one from Japan would be the way forward for anyone looking to go down that route?

Getting one imported direct from Japan definitely appears to be the most cost-effective way right now. I was amazed to see how many pass through Japanese auctions, massive variety to choose from and there's loads of independent importers bringing cars over from there for relatively low prices nowadays, try OPJP on Facebook for example (I follow them and am amazed). Fantastic car OP, love the old JDM coupes, that gold one is just cloud9

Haven't been on here for a while.just a quick update on things

The nova is a little different from the last pics lol

Unfortunately I had to sell the pulsar to fund the nova project. Neither would have gotten finished if I hadn't bit the bullet. The fella that bought it has it on the road now and works to Nissan so it went to a good home

First time I have seen your post. Love the AE86
I am now going to sound like an old git but had one of these from 88 to 81. It ended up with escort gp4 billies on the back, full janspeed, sunbeam front springs on the back and some specials on the front topped off with a Sherpa van radiator! As parts for them were very expensive/rocking horse st! I drove it from North Yorkshire to Peterhead in Scotland where I was working at the time during the night - it was like a 300 mile night rally! Tried to sell it there but nobody was interested. I ended up trading it in!
Before I sold it I also owned a mint 911SC 3.0 and I am not kidding I could cross the North Yorkshire Moors quicker in the AE86!

Yea parts are getting harder and harder to get for them now. It must have been great fun doing a 300 mile trip flat out haha I would say it was the fear of wrecking the 911 that made you drive slower in it lol.

Here's what iv been up to recently

45's on the nova should help it move on a bit
Some tidying done on the corollas bay aswell
And the two out for a wash

Lovely cars. I keep thinking of getting one through OPJP, been following them for ages now and they're a great example of how those companies should operate.
