I am from time to time, I'll have to try get in contact with you some how when I'm next up. I'm gutted I missed out on those Eibach springs you had up for grabs!

Ha i think the lad who bought them might want rid of them actually, however now that i have Cup dampers with Cooksport springs i would highly recommend these compared to the Eibach's.

Get my ITB's fitted hopefully before i go to South Africa, and am putting my Arctic camo vinyl on this weekend. A bit mar mite i know but these little french cars are right tarts.

Are they a worth while upgrade over the standard springs? Although I've already got the cup springs.

A lad I know had just had some ITB's fitted and mapped to his 172 cup and it sounds immense!

100% yes, do you have the cup dampers front and rear also, if not i would recommend that for a complete suspension refresh.

They sound amazing don't they, NA for the win. Speaking of Naturally aspirated i was playing with an Audi S3 yesterday on the way from Northallerton to Darlington and was very surprised that he could not shake me not even on the straights i think he was a bit gutted too as he over took me in a 30 then could not get away from me

Yeah it has the cup dampers. How much did you originally sell them for?

I hate it when they do that, can't get past you and then do a sneaky move in a 30. You need to get yours on track, it's scary how far you can push these cars and how they hold themselves against much more powerful cars.

I was only about 3-4s slower than my mates Impreza STi with 320bhp, coilovers and R888's, which in my opinion isn't that bad

£80 I sold them for.

Really, well it just goes to show that its all about the Power to Weight ratio, need to follow suit and get the back seats out and fit some lighter front seats.

I think some of it was down to driver skill and the fact his car is worth a lot more than mine!

Should both try get Croft booked next year!

No, my uncle goes to watch the motorbikes do the hill climb and sometimes does it himself too.

Car is going to stay at it is at the moment until the new year when I've some funds to tinker with it further.

When i had my 172, I got some solid top mounts and struct bar.. That was just excellent, and not too expensive.

That's really nice. I really like this shape Clio and prefer it to the model that came after it.

I came really close to buying a Gordini blue 182 with cup pack but ended up with a 325 instead. In some wats I wish I'd bought the RS. My uncle had a 172 then a 182 and I always remember how quick they felt on country lanes.

Very nice, good colour as well!

I keep looking at these in the classifieds.

With my GT off the road at the moment i'm getting bored of the current shopping car (1.0 corsa) and thinking of swapping it for one of these.

As AGK has said, do it. You won't regret it, similar quid quality to the Corsa but with soft touch materials though. Spec on them are good too with xenons as standard and climate.

Decided to put the colourful ClioSport sticker on the rear window yesterday. In the process of doing some googling I also found out that the 182 has heated wing mirrors too

Gone back to the standard headunit too, got fed up of the Alpine unit throwing an error up when I connected my iPhone 5 up to it. Can't complain as it is pretty old. Bought an aux cable but need to route it a different way rather than through the glove box,

Bought some gloss black dash strips to replace the standard satin silver ones. Gave them a good polish and fitted them, just seems to make the inside a bit classier smile

How do you get them to work? It's been bugging me that mine didn't seem to have heated mirrors.

When you put the heated rear screen on it automatically puts the heated mirrors on. When you've turned it on, give it a few mins and should be nice and warm
