They are a truly great looking car, if I was in the market for a Hothatch it would be one of these, that colour too.

Took it for it's second service in my ownership today. I can't recommend the guys and girls at TGM Sport Racing enough. Really helpful and polite, lend you a car if you need one and the workmanship and price are all spot on.

Here's to another 6 months and 12,500 miles. I really do love my TypeR.

Very nice pictures smile

On the last picture I noticed your display is mostly "orangey". I've seen cars with blue-ish display. Is this the facelift? When is the FN2 facelifted?

Plan on finally getting round to polishing my Milano FN2 when the spring comes. What combo of pads and polish did your mate use? Meiguers 105 & 205 seems to be the starting point, but what pads? With so much info out there its hard to narrow down what to use.

I can't remember but I'll ask him as it needs doing again after a year, 25K and a couple of polish car washes (He was very scathing about those!). What can I say? It's a work funded car and I'm a busy man.

That would be great.

Great cars, I have owned my 2010 Milano red GT for 1 1/2 years and it seems to cover all bases...very practical, relatively good on fuel and also involving to drive when you want a blast....steering & gearshift are excellent, it feels sharp and precise and almost an occasion every time you start it up and drive.

I was in the camp of not really liking them when they came out (probably due to Clarkson...tt) but I think they have improved with age, the interior is still a very nice place to be and a bit different from the usual German stuff.

Great thread & nice to see that you're keeping it updated smile.
My next car will probably be an ep3, but after & if funds allow, an fn2 it shall be! smile

I like the look of these.

Had one as a courtesy car when our Accord Tourer was having its clutch done.

Went well enough & felt pretty eager with having 6 speeds.

My only complaints were the fidgety manners on the road-,required constant steering correction, the way the revs 'hung' between gearchanges (mapping/fbw throttle?) & the cheapness of the plastics....

A competent performer but didn't stir my soul like my ITR did & ATR still does

How have you found the spacers, any rubbing on the arches at all? Wheels sit pretty flush with the bodywork now!

No probs at all and I've had it loaded to the gills with 4 people and luggage for a weeks holiday.

I was helping a mate run a rolling road day today and figured while I was there and he the RR set up to run FWD cars it would be rude not.

Made pretty much book power so that's fine by me.

You still liking this then OP? I have had mine 2 months, only mod is Hondata and a panel filter. Absolutely totally in love with it, and I've owned a DC2. The noise it makes is utterly addictive, and to be honest, it doesn't feel as though much will pull your pants down in a drag either despite the poor on-paper figures. Love the looks, love the interior, the noise, the gearbox, puts a smile on my face after a lot of semi-fancy machinery. Great little car.
