Cheers for the pic Alex. smile

I do like the GP kit and it's on my wish list. The back one I really like, the front I can take or leave.

Welcome to the FN2 club. I've had mine since June of this year. If memory serves the GT pack didn't have the iPod kit until 2009. Yours might be aftermarket. The only addition I've done to mine has been a parrot Bluetooth and iPod/aux in kit, which works very well. I bought mine fully fitted form eBay for £159 all in smile

Mine has done 100k and it's mint inside.

Anyone who says the ride is fine has clearly lived with a race car every day for many years.

Great cars though and superb steering smile

Mine is pretty filthy now. Seeing the OPs has reminded me that I need to clean mine .

Hey OP, I'm in the same boat!

I have to (and yes I really mean have to) get rid of my 180bhp turbo Mk3 roadster, which I firmly believe is the most fun you can have with your clothes on!

So I just put done a deposit on a 60 Reg Saphire Blue FN2 GT with just 14K on the clock! I love the look of the FN2, even turned down a low mileage unmolested EP3 CTR to get it, much to the disgust of my best mate lol!

I've already ordered some component speakers, amp and sound deadening to do the ICE on mine. Fast road set up will be getting done and if I can afford it, Flashpro+ mapping at TDI north.

Can you get FN2 type R's in blue?? I thought I saw one a few months ago on the road but thought it must have been a wrap or had been made to look like a type R...

Yh, looks pretty good in yellow IMO

According to autotrader vehicle detail search, this came in yellow out of the factory;

Out of 307 FN2 for sale in the UK on autotrader. Only 2 were Sapphire blue. I bought one of them! biggrin

The only thing I didn't like about the FN2 when it came out was the looks, I thought it was a step backwards compared to the EP3, but now I just think they're one of the best looking hot hatches ever made, looks menacing, especially in red.

Oh god, that looks amazing! The FN2 has a bad rep in Type R circles, but I think people will appreciate them more in years to come. The blue doesn't do much for me, but each to their own.

Glad you got one mate! Looks a nice example too..

I removed a whiteline RARB from my mates at the weekend as its going in for Part Ex (he's only getting 6k for it, 2008 35k!)

Had to have a little drive in it afterwards. Really do like these, tempted to borrow the cash and buy it off him tbh!

(if you're interested in the rear anti roll bar let me know! It makes an amazing difference to the turn in speed)

The guy who lives next to me has a black one with quite a few mods (Mugen stuff too, IIRC).

Sounds a bit farty when cold, but when warmed up it burbles nicely.

You're a bad bad man Nicholas. Having an MX5 and thinking what to get as a new daily instead of an E36 I've stumbled upon your "...am i mad" topic and it ended with me buying an FN2 yesterday.
On a serious note, thumbs up for your collection and photography skills!

I had a limited edition EP3 and other owners were rather snotty about the FN2 as if it wasn't a real Civic. I bloody love them. They're beautiful both inside and out and I'm hugely jealous! thumbup

Beautiful FN2! Unlike most people, I actually like the FN2 Type R. It just looks so sporty and agressive... and the interior looks really good too!
