FN2 Civic Type R - The one they love to hate.
Discussion
As recommended by Civinfo forum I've bought and fitted some 15mm Eibach spacers that improve the stance, the wheels look a bit lost in the arches before. I'm not going to replace the wheels as I love the OE ones so this was the best way to get a bit of width.

Cheers, I'm really chuffed with what a difference they've made. Been out and taken more photos. As you can see it BADLY needs a machine polish which will get in the coming weeks.

That's looking great. I assume that's a private plate as i thought these were 2007+. Can I ask what sort of mpg you are seeing?
Yes, the plate belongs to Gav who I bought it from. Paperwork is in process for it to be returned to him and the car back on it's original 57 plate. MPG wise I've done 2000 miles in the 3 weeks I've had and it's averaged 31 over that period. I've had it as high 39 on a long run driving like Miss Daisy and as low as 16 driving like a twunt. My Normal drive to work is 60% Country A road, 20% DC and 20% town traffic and with normal driving and the odd squirt of Vtec I'll see 34 to 35 for the day. It seems a couple of MPG more frugal on Vpower Nitro Super Hero Not Quite Free Lego Juice.

Oh, stop it, you're making me miss mine (Black 2008)
I really never understood the hate for these - driven back to back with a friends MkV GTi, there was no comparison in the 'is every drive a little event' stakes. Also, fantastic seats.
Fuel tank too small though - particularly as motorway speeds don't seem to bring any particular improvement in mpg, which I found sat at 29 - 31 mpg pretty much whatever was done with it.
