Gearbox

V161, it is in the usual condition, very dirty and oxidised.

We gave it a bit of SRD love and its come out pretty well. Its now sealed as well so shouldn't oxidise any more.

We've gone for an acusump system for this car to safe gaurd the engine. Comes in this finish but didn't go with our colour scheme so its been painted black. The acusump will hold oil under pressure and release it into the system if the oil pressure drops for some reason

It will also prime the engine on start up to help reduce engine wear.

Acusump painted black

Could you tell me how the acusump protects the engine on start up by 'priming it'? Interested to learn!

Your Supra build is fantastic by the way. I desperately want to get my hands into an engine again this year!

I think its to do with the fact you can pressurize the system before the car starts -so in theory there is more oil circulated on start up - so minimizes the wear/risk - i think ?!!
