How hot was the washing machine? Hopefully you have not tempered your wheel bolts :P

Nice car, don't like the black grills. Chavvy in my opinion.
Ha, hopefully not that hot, the tupperware hasn't melted so it should be all good laugh

Great car pal. I got an LCI 335i Msport back in April. I also have the saddle brown leather and I think it really makes the car stand out. I changed the chrome grille to black as well because I have no other chrome on the exterior of the car, plus makes it look meaner. Some pics on the show me your BMW thread in July if you are interested.
Thanks for your comments, the interior is the first thing most people mention, I'm surprised it's not more common. I'll have a look at the thread

cheers

Thanks, just recently sold it & I honestly didn't get on with it that well & I personally believe as a daily driver your motor will reward you for more of the time than a V8 M3 will, trouble with the M3 is its only exciting to drive at 6k revs plus & it doesn't offer any low down usable shove & it frustrated the hell out of me, I did specifically go for white though as I do think it suits the shape.
Really!? Thats interesting thanks. I honestly would never have expected that. Did you replace it with something exciting?

Afraid not I swapped it for a E90 330i M sport but I know they are a great all round daily driver so I am happy, my problem was I sold my Cerbera then had a Z4M & then E92 M3 & they both failed to excite me in the way the TVR did & so ive just gone sensible & steady for a while...but I really want a R35 GTR as straight line shove is what I really enjoy.

Agreed - I did exactly the same thing on my black 335d. The grill was the only chrome part, so it got swapped to the black OEM one as well.

I dont get this black grill thing. It takes away a key feature of the car.

I have a chrome grill on my Mondeo.
Always debating wether to get a black grill.
The black grill on your car improves the look I think.

Nice car OP.

I have the same but different colour combo! I wanted Saddle Brown and Le Mans blue, never turned up so I ended up with a black interior frown

Black Grilles make such a difference, how much £££ are we talking to swap them over? and did the old ones remove in piece?

Thanks mate, yeah I think you'd have been waiting a while for that colour combo to turn up. I ordered my grilles from Cotswold BMW, they were £72 iirc. Bit pricey but I always think it's better to spend the extra for a good fit. Just a case of removing a few torx screws and getting your hand in behind to push out the clips. Fiddly job but didn't take long and they're pretty robust so nothing should break

Cheers

Ah yes I saw your 330i on the BMW page earlier. A very nice place to be while you decide on your toy thumbup

Thanks thumbup

I did consider a 335i as I said earlier ive always loved them but I thought I wouldn't be able to resist putting my foot down in one & it would have probably returned similar mpg to my M3! Whereas the 330i is a far more sadate machine & it doesn't encourage you to go quickly like a 335i/M3 does.

Looks lovely. Very probably my next car. I have the E90 325 mSport now but fancy the coupe as I don't really need 4 doors. I like the colour and interior on that too. My only worry is that I might get bored after owning an E90 for 2.5 years by getting another one. Then again, the engine might help sort that out :-)

Cheers, although you'll be seeing the same dash and steering wheel I think a coupe will feel different enough due to the aggressively raked windscreen etc and they look quite different on the outside. As for the engine, like you say I think you'd be happy with that for a while driving

Lovely car, I came very close to getting one of these last summer but got a golf R32 instead.

Every time I see one of these I yearn for one, but then I get in my Golf and it just sounds so good (shame the performance isn't that good) - think i'll bite the bullet and get a 335 next summer!

Good point, I'm guessing thats the reason mine came with two new rears. I do check them whenever they come off for a clean and seem ok so far. I certainly do plenty of pot hole swerving now day's lol driving
It's usually because of the hard runflats, has it still got them?
