If there was a lot more detail and pic to this thread like in some others this could be the Readers cars thread of the year.

A mk2 escort with an LS1? It doesn`t get better than that. Excellent.

Well, I don't know what to say about that smile

I'm very impressed but slightly disappointed it didn't take months of painstaking updates to come to fruition hehe

thanks for the comments, havent driven it yet although it has been fired up a few times, had a bit o trouble with my new ecu not being calibrated to run a 24 tooth crank trigger wheel, which the LS1 has, so its been sent back to MBE (ECU Company) sevral times for softwear mods, hopefully all gremlins sorted now.

basically i built the shell to GP4 spec, bear metal shotblasted and primed, 6 linked rear end, Fostec Built 52" Atlas with gripper diff, Gaz coil overs, image wheels, willwood brakes, full weld in cage, lots of shell strengthing/repairing etc

its 98% complete lol then MOT then develope further ;-)

i have a more detailed thread on turbosport, il put detail in from now on :-)

any Qs just ask

cheers
