Nice

I expect with an LS1 in a MK2 escort you wouldn't need to be pusing hard at all to get caught out.

Of course i expect you're some sort of driving god?

As the OP has said, caught out on an island.

And as anyone whose followed he thread knows it aint running a pinto anymore, diesel, hammering it down etc etc.

Unlucky OP dust yourself off and get the spanners out.

OP means Original Poster, the guy that started the thread. You, basically!

You have my sympathies; I am incredibly careful in mine (LS3 RX7) unless its bone dry and the tyres are very warm.

Still, you live and learn and I'm sure you won't be doing whatever made that happen again. I've always been amazed by how well they handle, there was a pair around here with a silly amount of cossie power that would go sideways everywhere. Apparently they were completely predictable and very easy to drive like a hooligan once you learnt how they handled.

Keep us updated and don't let it get you down, more people have done it than you can possibly imagine, they just don't tell the internet about it hehethumbup

I'm really gutted for you, it could've been worse, always remember that.

I spent a year restoring and several grand on my pride and joy and ended up killing it. Hopefully for your sake you will be able to repair yours.
