Crikey! It (used to be) the Rozzers. 330d

Well I picked it up today!
Made it all the way home with no problems so the signs are good. Pulls nicely and drives smooth. The most impressive thing by far though are the brakes! Would the Police have had them upgraded? It does stop on a penny.
Some poor pics, I'll get some better ones up when I've given it a clean and polish.

Lack of badges from where the stripes used to be

Some screws in the dash from it's previous life, but the dealer has ordered and replacing.
Tape deck FFS!

A better pic of the car,
A clue to its previous life,
This doesn't look standard,
Twin battery set up, ithankyouverymuch
A connector in the wheel well with some interesting options!
I had the swirl flaps removed and a clean of inlet manifold etc.
This is one that came out, it fell apart in the mechanics hand as he was removing it!
It's going great so far, a bit different to the 100bhp Audi 80 it's replacing!

Back in the 1970s, whenever my dad was skint (which was always) he would go through a phase of buying ex Panda cars, so we always had light blue Fords with holes in the headlining.

19"s on the non-M E46 are all kinds of wrong. Just don't fit, hence the stretch and associated unsafeness/crapness.
One of the few occasions where 18" properly staggered replicas would look infinitely better. And probably be infinitely better.
A 215 profile tyre on a 9.5" wheel is just idiotic.
