Looks very nice mate, those alloys set it off nicely.

You looked at the eibach pro kits?

Personally, it looked far smarter on the first pics.

Thanks and yes it could do with being a bit lower.

Yes I'm still getting used to the black/black look, I was torn between the black or silver RS reps as the wheels on the car were cheap multi fit alloys and I couldn't get Ford centre caps to fit. I've had the car 7 years and have had a few set of wheels and fancied a change.

And then this for a couple more years, but the stripes get brittle and start looking tatty!

I did look out for this at Sunday service a couple of weeks ago, but missed it.

A slightly larger black rim and an inch lower would be spot on.

Had an argument with mission control and didn't make it! Does need lowering a little.

Haven't posted on my car for a while, it's just spent the day at a health spa and had an engine flush and oil/filter change, rear brakes cleaned and adjusted, cam and auxiliary belts changed, gearbox mount changed (as it had 2 splits) and air on re-gassed. That should keep going for a while smile

Finally got my car lowered, it's 30-35mm lower on Eibach springs.

I'm hoping it settles a few mm lower over the next couple of weeks, but not sure if this is wishful thinking!

Should of gone 50mm, it sits perfectly in the arches.

Too low for me! Does it ground on speed bumps?

Get your plastics dipped in gloss black. Would look much smarter IMO. Great little cars, had one myself a few years ago. As previously stated, that air filter will be suffering from all kinds of heat soak. Far better off using the standard box & just put an K&N filter in there. I had a GSR kit on mine which had the cone down behind the fog light on the passenger side which was 'ok' as far as induction kits on N/A motors go. Not sure if any are still out there though.
