Very nice!

Do all of those mods actually make the car better? I honestly thought that GTR's came out of the factory pretty damn perfect to begin with so just wondering what these mods add to it really? Serious question BTW as i'm honestly interested.

Regarding brake pads. Not that I have driven many high performance stoppers but I did drive a track preped Celica GT4 once. It had Carbotech pads on stock brakes, even from cold it gave me whiplash at parking speeds with just the lightest of touches of the pedal. The owner claimed zero fade on track and apparently the lasted really well and didn't create much dust. I made enquiries for a friend who kept on chewing through a set of pads in his Voyager every 6 weeks, big family, big car driven way too fast. They were around £200 for a set of custom pads iirc.

Loving life with the car

Had the custom map done by Ben @gtc so looking forward to having it rolling-roaded again soon to check it out now, and enjoying less black smoke wink

Couple more bits:

Carbon fibre front splitter, still waiting for other CF goodies to arrive but thought i's get this fitted, with the new pads, before a meet I was attending yesterday..

new front pads fitted, these are the olds:

the inside ones were much lower than the outside which you can only spot when on a ramp really, so lucky we spotted that

Had my first real good burn in the car this weekend

testing out the 4x4 offroad wink

argghhhhh gotta love these 'enthusiastic' driving meets... splitter was only fitted yesterday!!

..sooo worth it though smile
