You can get 335i or 330d in RWD.

Its a lovely car OP, the F3x 335d is on my radar in a few years time, I deeply regret selling my E91 335d in 2012

That video of the lights is brilliant, I have adaptive xenons on my 1 series, but they don't have the same technology, I'm impressed with what I have, those though must be amazing.

As per the others, the lights seem very impressive!

I would like to see what it looks like from the view of a car coming towards you.

I wonder if it's going to be like the 'cornering lights' thing all over again where uneducated motorists will get all worked up because "he's got his full beam on!! And one of his bulbs has blown! What a prick!" etc...

If I do go for a diesel this car (and spec) would be top of my list. Very impressive indeed!

Heck, if I can find a used one with the spec at around 35k I'd be very tempted. Currently do a lot of short journeys though not sure if diesel good choice.

Edit: It's quicker than my E92 M3 too! wow

It's quick, but not quite that quick.

Using BMW quoted figures the 335d is faster 0-62 than an E90 M3 Saloon DCT/Manual or E90 M3 Coupe Manual (but not DCT).

That's mostly down to traction off the line, and without getting into anything like cornering ability.

That's why I don't give too much credence to 0-60 figures to reflect outright performance. 0-100 is a better figure.

80-120kmph is what I can find on Wiki, which is 4.9 Coupe or 5.7 Saloon for the M3.

The VBOX figures above show 3.02 seconds for the 335d - which seems strange!

0-100 M3 seems to be 9.9s vs 11.31s for 335d.

Mine arrives in 3 weeks! Driving a 1.5dci Qashqai currently so i think it will be an interesting comparison!

I agree you do see many cars with great 0 to 60 times but then you look at 0 to 100 and wonder what`s happened...our Audi TTS is a good example its got an impressive 0 to 60 of 5.2 yet the 0 to 100 is disappointing.

Strangely my old E92 M3 only ever felt quick to me at 100 plus though but it was so strong on its top end and for that I do respect it.

Picked one of these up yesterday as an interim to my 2015 X3 arriving, suitably impressed so far, might keep it smile

An absolute perfect car. I reckon the only thing better then this is the Alpina D3 Biturbo, which does it in 4.6, top end of 173MPH and averages 53MPG.

Been looking at these aswell as an upgrade from my E90 330D.

Love it mate.
