Isn't this the same article you posted 6 months ago or am I going mad?!

Either way - loving car, echo what others I have said in that I truly think this is the best looking model for the rs6 in a stunning colour - nice write up too

I went there once, too, but it was a bit stty so never again.

Awesome car - in every respect. Just wish I had the salary to both buy and run one - I could perhaps do one or the other!

Anyone that bashes a C5 RS6 clearly hasn't driven one.

Great car and great write up!

I saw the same thread and stayed well away, I also loved my C5 RS6 (possibly more so than my C6) but I was not going to get involved in what looked to be a bit of a master-class in trolling. (or at least I hope it was)

I used my C5 as a daily, and you do have to have deep pockets, but oh the rewards that car gave and possibly one of the best soundtracks as well.

Great to know that people are still looking after them, there were many heading towards the wideboy brigade that wanted them as their new "IMPREZZZZZZA" mate.

Keep up the good work and well done, fantastic car.

nice RS6. lad I know has a red avant. H+R coilovers, re-mapped, quite brutal. had it for a few days the other year as I prepped it ready for a local car show. has all the options, solar roof etc. sounds epic.

I daily'ed mine for a year and, other than the wallet combusting maint/fuel, it performed just like a normal estate car, that could catch a lot of better cars out.

Once the price for low end ones had dropped to <£8k the amount of "thrash it for 6 months and flog it before it breaks" owners shot up dramatically but it feels like that sort of thing is dying out now (may ramp back up for the summer) and well sorted cars like this one are commanding a premium.

Looks identical to the one I drove as an 18 year old trainee... "will you drop something off for me, take my car" - how I'm still alive I'll never know.

Out of my 1.6 Focus and into an RS6.
