Superb! Who did you choose for the trimming in the end, Ed?
Couple of places, Capital Seating/Auto trim in Leicester did the seats, the rest is done by Coventry car and coach, he's a real old school guy who's quality and price is second to none, he even spent time last week teaching me how to trim so I can have a go at some of the smaller last few bits. Leather is from Bridge of Weir and Alcantara is from Boyriven (very good price!)

Thanks Ed. I know Captial Seating as they supply Recaro spare parts. Coventry C&C sounds like a real find. The centre console is just superb, and in fact it's made me think I should have my centre console trimmed!

That looks awesome, Max. I must admit I'm not a big fan of the 1 series exterior, but that interior is BMW getting back to their best. Some leather trimmed CS's would finish it off a treat wink

Thank you. It's a Mk3 with Mk4 dash - fitted as it made an Air Conditioning conversion far simpler.

Thanks! The photo was enhanced a bit too much really, it's not that red but was trying to make the best out of phone photos!

One of the nicest interiors I had in a car was this one. Loved it.

I'm just finishing the design/work on a custom interior. Some great inspiration from this thread. Thanks chaps.

Isn't that an X-Type? Very similar, granted smile

The term 'nothing special' is somewhat an understatement for this, but here we are, the interior of my 2001 Ford KA Collection.

For my first car it is doing me well, had it nearly a year now and have nearly got that all important first years No Claims. The Air Con runs absolutely fine except what I am assuming is a split pipe behind the dashboard as the drivers side vent doesn't blow very well at all and you can feel it blowing in the foot well even when it is set not too. Stereo come out of my Dad's old Vectra and replaced a very battered and tired Alba one from the previous owner. The stitching on the bottom of the steering wheel is starting to come apart, depending on whether I keep hold of it for awhile longer, I may source a replacement or just get a new cover for it or stitch it back up.

Will do! Here's Mrs Blib's surprise birthday present. A work in progress. Not as exotic as many on here. But, when she sees it on her 50th, I will win enough brownie points to last me several lifetimes. smile
