My headlights are halogen, and was looking to the lci xeon headlights as they don't need coding. Just wondered if it was worth doing the LCI front upgrade, just needs the bonnet and bumper. I like the lci bonnet, has two swag lines going down it in a V shape.

I say go for it, plenty of cheap parts floating around due to the OBD II thefts

If i were you though I'd revert it back to standard at the time if sale as whenever i see a facelifted car i immediately think unregistered crash...obviously this isn't always the case though smile

Thanks.

The standard seats are more comfortable then they look, they just look too boring and simple though. My last car had R32 Heated Konigs and iam missing them, so thought id try these in the bimmer. Might get the back seats retrimmed in the same nappa leather diamond stitching if the fronts look out of place.

Also fitted some Eibach 5mm rear spacers (10mm per axel) and 3mm front spacers (6mm per axel). Also fitted Genuine LCI Auto headlight switch which has some small aluminium detailing on it. Fitted some black wheel bolts and locking nuts and BMW centre Caps.

Next up will be the rear exhaust and BMW performance rear diffuser, Wagner Evo intercooler and some LCI Xeon angel eye headlights.

Looking good OP, the LCI takes years off the car IMO. Was looking at a 335D touring for the next family car but really wanted an LCI model, I did look into converting everything including the nav but realised that it would be cheaper to hold out a little longer and get a genuine LCI

Also when you do the xenon conversion are you going down the full factory route with self levelling sensors and headlight washers?

Yes the full MOT friendly genuine BMW setup. My bumper already has headlight washers anyway.

fitted the cobra seats. a few pics during installation

Throws up errors after the seats were installed

Fitted the seat occupancy bypass, seat belt simulator and airbag emulator, then had the errors coded out.

cheers. Should see a bit of weight saving as well. Each seat is only 10KG, plus what ever the subframes weigh. Iam going to weigh the original seats and see what they come in as.

Ill get some better pics of the interior on the weekend. I still got to wire in the heating switches yet. was in no rush to do that yet anyway given our current weather.
