Some strange creature seems to have nested on you mirror! I'd have it shot if I were you, it's in danger of ruining a nice car.

The interior in particular looks excellent but I can't help thinking the rear bench needs re-trimming to match the Cobras up front.

depending on how long iam going to keep the car, that might be a possibility along with upgrading the rear to split folding ones

iam now looking into changing the front seats for a pair of Recaro CS seats. Iam finding the cobras too uncomfortable on long journeys. I need to try before i buy this time.

Might be cheaper to get Cobra to see if they can add some additional padding/lumbar support. They're a good bunch there - worth emailing them to ask.

Hello mate. Lovely car, good effort on all the work you have pit in to it!

Appreciate it is an old thread now but just wanted to ask was the exhaust conversion done by Style Dynamis in Hayes? I only ask as I really fancy having same conversion done on my 07 325i Convertible. If it was done there how do you rate the quality and workmanship and do you remember the cost?

All the best.....

I saw you mention early on about swapping the idrive from CCC to CIC, I have done it on mine and its worth every penny!
I also fitted the combox which gives the full iPod control with album artwork and video, BMWConnected apps from your iPhone which include twitter/facebook feed, Gopro app to control the camera with live feed on the idrive screen, text messages, etc etc.

Awesome upgrade!

Forgot to say you can use the webradio app and even one that reads books to you lol!
The sat nav is a huge improvement, it includes full post code search too.
Oh, and just for an extra bonus, it has 20GB of space to store music on by copying it from inserted audio or MP3 cd's.

There is more info, pics and parts list on my thread

Looking into changing\upgrading the brakes as the discs are on there last legs. I noticed that mine are 330 x 24 but the 335D runs 348 x 30 but run the same rear 336 x 22. Hence the brake upgrade.

I found a set of totally refurbed front claipers and carriers in red for the 335D. I got some EBC Turbo grooved 348x30mm front discs along with some pagid Pads. Going to get matching rear discs for the back next and paint the rear calipers to match the front

The conversion is a straight swap.

The pics really dont show how big these things are. The calipers and discs are massive

While all the wheels were off when i was doing the brakes, i noticed that one of my alloys has a crack on the inside lip, seeking a replacment alloy was proving difficult so picked up and fitted and new set of rims. Not sure iam totally 100% with them yet, but time will tell. Got some staggered 19" OEMS IGF9, 8.5J front, 9.5J rear.
