Fantastic motors. Have you got a Dave F air filter? If not you should, it really lets the noise of the supercharger out.

I have the Orranje stealth cai which is the same design but more OEM looking. It really does help bring the whine inside the cabin.

Fitted some proper suspension.

Fitted some roll centre adjusters to reduce "squat".

How does the performance differ with the Pulley and Airbox?

Quite a bit, i did the same mods and it utterly transformed the engine, feels like it always should have done!

It should add somewhere in the region of 20-30bhp with an exhaust (mine was a late 55 plate (163bhp to start) and that made 200bhp at fly with a pulley, airbox and intercooler from a GP....

The later ones from about 04 on had a smidge more than 163bhp - was supposed to be about 6 or 7 bhp more I think.

Very nice. We are replacing our Golf with one of these next year, as SWMBO no longer does the miles to justify a diseasel, and 90% of the miles the Golf does now are solo.

Lovely car. It's between this and Chilli Red as the best colours IMHO.
