Funny, I just bought a set of 15's for mine, for trackdays only, to give me a better choice of tyres. They're black too, so I've bought a tin of silver Hammerite!

Nearly done, just off for geo later and then we're ready!

cool

Over 100 laps done at Cadwell... by the wife. I didn't so much as sit in the car all day, just checked tyre pressures and tightened my nuts.

The car was faultless, couldn't ask for more than it gave and as you can see by the last pic, it holds it's own against the big boys!

Nice build you've got mate! Be interested to know where you got the TD's from for £220, want a set of 15's for my 172.

eBay, got lucky with them really, the second set I've got were more money.

Not really, got a ph1 172 airbox for it but need to relocate the battery to fit it, other than that, it's ready for the next track day which I think will be Bedford on the 30th of Jan.

Update time!

Battery mounted, ECU relocated, Ph1 airbox fitted, going to knock up some cold air feeds after Bedford next Friday, can't be bothered now, it's too late to organise some pipes.

You can also see the Magnecor leads in that picture.

Fitted a genuine Renault radio blank too but can't get the picture uploaded, removed the stereo control stalk and fitted a genuine blank to the column surround too, as well as removing the front door speakers.

I've also now got 2 narrow seats fitted after losing a bit of weight.

RS Tuner is coming on Monday, messed up a little and ordered one with the wrong map so I need to download the correct one before I plug it into the car.

and finally I've got 4 Michelin Pilot Sport 3s coming for use with the black wheels, mainly for the road but also as emergency 'wet' alternatives to the Nankangs.

Looking good.

RB is one of my favorite colours on the 182.

Loving the work that's gone into this, well done! The sign of a good track car thread is always that it's making me want one....badly! smile
