last time i see an orion was back in the late 90's when i tried racing one in my Mk3 fiesta down on southend sea front........the good old days

It's taken forever to get back on the Orion since getting it back from Crazycage...
Today after many weeks of tweaking the manifold and turbo are back in place and it runs again!

Need to mod the down pipe support bar next as that don't line up anymore, only case of redrilling a couple of holes to the right abit, then refit radiator, fans, intercooler, bumper... 8)

Abit more done this morning, down pipe brace redrilled
Radiator on, pipes on, wired up

Just intercooler and water to do

Finally back together and ready for taxing in April
Plan another map and boost increase mid April

Swapped the oil return hose for a proper oil ASH
And fitted another bottom boost hose
Bumper back on and washed quickly

Gotta be the best example in the country, looks stunning mate, very tastefully modified, looks very OEM in my eyes. Reminds me of my brothers metallic black 'H' reg 1.6i ghia (obviously not as good as yours though!)

Like many others here, it seems - I have fond memories of my first ever brand new company car - black orion ghia 1.6 (not i). G551MYC - where are you now? £10,870 +£130 for black paint made it exactly on the car allowance limit.
It was well used and abused yet never missed a beat. Great car of its day.

Most impressive resto/build/mod/detail. Loving the attention to detail.
