I’m not sure the wheels are to my taste but the rest of the car is perfect. My parents had one, G470 GKG if I recall, I’m what I remember to be the same colour.

That was replaced with a rounder one on an L plate when they came out. The grey one came with us to Jersey in 1990 on holiday, great memories!
Thanks cool
I love my Borbet’s biggrincool very period wheel and look perfect in the flesh imo…
Gotta have a retro wheel on a retro car
Don’t get me wrong, love the wheels they just look a bit big. I’m only 38 so not old enough to have lost my marbles but I don’t recall escorts or Orion’s running around on 17’s back in the day.

Flocked yes… I need to source a replacement due to this one being damaged/ worn, if I can find a mint standard dash I’ll be going back to standard

Cool car too, I have had 5 Imprezas, UK Turbos, UK STI, JDM STi, but never a Type R... could never find the right one. Yours looks well cared for ... truly epic cars! One of my biggest mistakes was not buying a two year old 22B for £19K as I thought it was too expensive at the time... doh!

Tbh not really sunk in yet… it’s aged well, I’ll make in perfect in time
It’s so quick, and handles unbelievably well
It’s had so much time and money thrown at it, I’m just looking forward to getting on with it
