Got One!

Sprayed the door handles , i did this on my last Ep3 , they charge 50 quid for replacements from Honda , these cost a tin of silver.

I don't want to go too far with ruining the car , but i love a bit of carbon.

Anyone else quite heartened to see so much for the EP3?

Still a popular car , once people realized the Fn2 was not a worthy replacement.

Yeah I think a lot of people out then down but they are ace cars, great day-to-day fun and infinitely customisable.

Looks like Thursday is the day for the brakes, then Friday we should be in for mapping!

Thanks for posting your progress, I've just read the whole thread from start, to well now.

I've never really got the civic thing, we took an fn2 in px a few weeks ago (sorry !!) and I quite liked it (sorry again) I didn't drive it far - well just enough to see if it started and stopped and had all its forward gears and had planned to go for a spirited drive later. However in less than 12 hours it was sold and gone.

Anyway we have now taken an ep3 in px (2005) and I really like it. So much so i'm thinking of moving my fleet around and buying one. I like the handling and the brakes and the suspension isn't as bad as I expected. We had a little run across country and it was fun hunting down our office S4, I felt I'd had some fun as wet roads and cheap tyres don't inspire confidence.

Busy afternoon!

Fired the brakes. They look superb and the figment is brilliant. Can't wait to bed them in and try them properly.

Fuel pump is in, so fuel system ready for mapping tomorrow!

As the Scottish say...you could just about fit a Baw Hair between those calipers and the rim.

Very nice , and hope you get a good run on the dyno.

Oh yeah it's tiiiight. We had to make sure the weights on the wheels cleared which they just do by a gnats whisker!

Well mapping was yesterday, mixed results. First of all power is up from 265-320 which is fantastic of course.

Downside is that the fuel pressure is still dropping off at higher revs. We want 4bar+ and it's dropping to 3.2 above 7k. Hmmmm.

So we've got an issue somewhere, either with the pump, FPR or something causing a restriction.

More head scratching to do.

Going pretty well at the moment though, but I want fuelling right, not just almost right!!

Keep at it. smile

Bolting the big bits on doesn't take the time, it's the small niggles\fault finding that eat all the time up!

Had a bit of a play with the extra power today, by god it's fast hehe

Get the fuelling right and try and get to 350bhp I think. smile

You will need a bigger intercooler if you keep pushing the power up! wink

The one I've got is good for 400bhp. I don't want/need any more than that!
