Why don't you keep quiet when you've nothing nice to say?

Everyone's different and don't all like the same thing.

It's so close I can taste it hehe

Final fit tomorrow, dyno run tomorrow.

All on and a bit of satin black around it to blend in.

Battery secured in the boot in box with breakers at each end.

It's like Christmas!! hehe

You had to bloody say it didn't you!! rofl

Hopefully not. Hence the intercooler, I'm pretty sure it would have died without it.

More progress today. It's been decided I will need a dumpvalve as the vacumn on the intercooler is compressing the silicone hoses (if you know what I mean) so a Forge 008 Recirculating valve is going on.

Hard pipe for the throttlebody to inlet almost done.

Lower pipe for air filter - charger almost done.

Obviously I'll need to replace with some yellow hoses eventually.

Almost there now, just some wiring to extend and then it's final fit and see how it feels!

Lovely car nice build, I remember my 55 plate EP3 premier, fondly. You seem to off done well getting all the bits seperatly and saving money.

Does it have a LSD fitted?

A friend of mine has a 350bhp supercharged 1.8 gen 7 Celica and the thing is mental. This should be similar when done.......

Hi mate.

No LSD at the moment, I'll get one soon when I have a new clutch also.

I did very well getting all of the parts seperately. It's been tough getting it all to work cohesively and I need to get the map tweaked when the cooler is finished too.

What was the reason for moving the throttle body to after the supercharger? Could it not be fit in there the other way?

We tried it to run after the throttle body, but as soon as the throttle closed there was a vacumn and all of the silicone hoses sucked themselves in.

Doing it this way seemed the right and logical way to do it.

That's very awesome.

I don't think I'll get to that kind of power. I'll be happy with 300 TBH!

Finally got the car back! Very happy with the intercooler and all the fabrication. Forge 008 Atmospheric dump valve gives it a bit more drama.

Booked back in for mapping on the 30th, plan is to check everything and then remove the restrictor (part of the TTS kit) that is currently by the air filter. This limits peak boost to 6psi, without it the charger will run 10psi on the same pulley (we have run the car with 10psi on one dyno run and peak power was up by 20bhp but the fuelling was too lean)

Also ordered a decat, decided I will stick with the standard exhaust but remove the cat to see if it helps with a bit more power but not too much noise!!

Nice car

It will desperately need a diff to make it usable.

I'd have painted the I/C itself satin black to keep it all stealthy too

I'm undecided on the cooler. I suppose I could paint one side and see how I feel.

I do quite like the bling though hehe
