Well I finally had the bumper painted yesterday, looks so much better for a few quids worth of paint!

Just need to get the wheels sorted now, thinking of going white.

Lovely car. I had the facelift for a couple of years and it's still one of my favourites. I'd go with a brighter silver for the wheels. White is very chavvy looking on these unless it's a JDM.

Butter Face, how pink was your car before the MOP? I've got an 03 plate milano red and the sides and boot lid are really pink. The passenger side door front end roof and plastics are all fine. Do you think a mop would bring it back up like yours? Have to say yours looks great!

Mine really wasn't that bad, TBH the mop didn't do much for the colour as unfortunately the red is under a lacquer so all you're doing is polishing the clear, if the red is that badly faded no amount of polishing will save it!

I now use Autoglym HD wax every saturday to try and keep on top of it, I may end up wrapping the car as it is still going a bit pink!

Thanks for the quick response dude. Fair play yeah mines pretty dull in the areas I mentioned. I don't think a mop will do anything for the colour just make it shine. I've had a go with megaurs ultimate compound it does nothing. You've got a good one there considering its age it looks imaculate. Not jealous at all! I'd get my bumpers resprayed to get rid of wear and tear but whats the point of they never match the body. I'm thinking vinyl wrap myself as I could buy another for the price of a respray.

No worries mate, it's a shame but I think they all end up going pink.

I think this is my 11th honda but my first red one, next will be grey I think!

Wash it every week and keep it waxed. If your's lasted 12 years and looks that good I wouldn't worry too much. Must have been painted well in the first place. I'll put a picture up showing the difference on mine when I get a chance. It's totally different shades of red. Shame indeed! Still love the car though it runs like a dream. If I want it looking boom its gonna be a wrap for sure! Either that or I'd sell it on and get a cosmic grey or championship white.

Every milano red ep3 I've walked past was discoloured in some way. Don't know if its just the camera or light but yours deffo looks pretty much the same all round. You lucky bd haha! How much did you pick it up for?

I'm not doing white wheels, had a good think and they're just too much of a pain to live with. I hate cleaning cars anyway!!

Got the car back from the bodyshop today with my freshly painted wheels and bonnet. Really happy with the colour and the look.

I'm hoping to get a chance to fit my Alpine speakers tomorrow and I have some brand new Eibach springs to go on next week. Very happy with the direction the car is taking smile
