How are youn finding the eibach springs?

Did you change anything else or just the springs?
Just the springs (and new front to mounts as they were squeaking!)

They are great, just low enough and the ride is still just about compliant enough to live with!

I decided that as the car now goes better and handles better, I should make it stop better.

Drilled and grooved discs and (maybe controversially) EBC Greenstuff pads.

Braking is better and I love the whoooooosing noise as you brake now hehe

Not updated this for a while!

I've now got a fully geo'd handling setup, camber arms on the rear, camber bolts on the front. My friend works at a well known fast fit establishment and they have Hunter laser alignment so he did the full camber/toe adjustment for me and the car now drives 100% better.

I've also had the whole front end of the car painted, bonnet, bumper and blended into the wings, I've fitted yellow foglights and just fitted a nice set of 17x7.5 Rota Grids in Gunmetal/Polished lip. I've got Neo Chrome wheel nuts to match my neo chrome Skunk2 gear knob too.

Overall I'm really happy with how the car is running and driving!

I decided to have the centre console painted in gloss black rather than the poor attempt I did at satin..

I've also picked up a set of Premier Recaros along with the doorcards, just one pic for now but I'll get some more when they're fitted!

Hi mate.

I only went a month or so without the camber. There's a before and after of the alignment below to show you how out it was!

Before

After

Only an after of the Front but it was way out like the rear!!

New seats and door cards are in, lovely interior.

Had the door handles etc all painted in gloss black to match the centre console.

Well, they weren't cheap, but I got a cracking deal with the seats and doorcards delivered to my door. I can't say exactly how much. Lol

I love the interior now, the new seats and gloss black details lift it from a boring Jap hatchback interior!

Are you willing to PM me? I have been pondering getting the same seats and door cards for my black prefacelift but wondered whether it would suit or not. I really like the look of them.
PM on the way.

Yes mate, Royal Steering wheels Retrimmed it in black alcantara. I'm thinking of retrimming in red alcantara but I'm not 100% on that.

I've purchased some red seatbelts too, not sure on how I'm going to make them work as yet!

Well I haven't done a great deal over the winter months but my Seatbelts got finished (made for me by a local coach trimmer, he's very good!) and fitted..

I've been wrestling with the idea of selling the car, but I do love it, I just want more power.... So..... I've started buying the kit to supercharge it!

I've got the supercharger (C30-94) and all the parts to a TTS top mount sport kit. I just need injectors, KPro and a mapping session. Not going to happen overnight but I may get it done by summer. TTS say 265bhp at the wheels (roughly) with that standard kit with space for more power later!

Had a dyno run this morning to get a base figure before I go ahead with the supercharger (should be around summertime)

204.9bhp @ 8100 rpm. Quite happy with that! I know dyno figures are all subjective but I've used this same one for years and it's to get a comparison once the work is done!

Also fitted my 'carbon fibre' sill covers from a guy in the CTR forum. I think they look quite nice!

Cheers mate, dyno figures are all a bit pie in the sky but I think if you run on the same dyno at least you know what you've gained!

Here's a link to the sills http://civictype-r.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=124...

You might have to sign in!

I've just bought another EP3 too, got a couple of bits I'm going to steal then sell it on!

Well a few little updates to show, some big stuff coming over the next few months too.

Firstly, I got some JDM mats, anyone who knows EP3's know these go for loadsa dosh, I got them (effectively) free! hehe

Next up, the big one. I love EP3's, I love Civics, but they're not quick anymore. After a lot of deliberation and soul searching (where I nearly sold the Civic and bought a Subaru Legacy!) I have decided to go for a Rotrex Supercharger.

You can buy a new kit from TTS for £3k + Fitting + ECU + Mapping, but suddenly you're 4k+ in. Ouch.

I've done my normal thing of trying to source all the parts seperately, It's a pain but it saves cash. Rotrex C30-94 from eBay, TTS mounts from ebay, some extra bits from TTS themselves and some brand new RC 650cc injectors.

It's a bit of a Jigsaw and I've still got the most expensive bit (Hondata KPRO + Mapping) to do, but it should all come together over the next few months. So watch this space!

Quick mockup in my garage (excuse the mess)

RC 650's. Mmmmmm.

Can't wait!

Cheers chaps! Looking forward to getting it on, I almost gave up on this car and swapped everything to a black facelift I bought but I decided in the end that I love my red baby smile

Well, the final piece of the puzzle is here. Got an absolute bargain from eBay, a PRA (European EP3 ECU) already fitted with a KPro. The latest V4 model as well. Saved myself a few hundred quid over buying a new one.

I've had a test fit, played with some maps and it's all working lovely, all ready for mapping.

Fitting of the charger? Well it may be happening quite soon!!

And so, it begins! 3 hours last night to strip off the inlet manifold, move everything to get access etc to all the mounting points.

Charger and inlet mocked up to check fitment. That is tigggghhhhht. But should all just go on with minimal fettling!

More tonight!
