fk me.

Love this, makes a change from the ubiquitous E36 project. It should feel very wrong, but somehow it doesn't.

Are you looking at uprating the fuel system or moving to a new engine management system to avoid the issues with the PM car?

Like all race car development - I foresee this being a a supremely addictive but ridiculiously expensive slippery slope.

Enjoy - you have us captivated!

By the power of Greyskull, that's going to be fun. Don't remove the traction control.

WHAT traction control? Only ABS on this..... Traction control is using one gear higher in the wet.

I might have to pop by and have a look at this in the flesh one day - you're utterly crazy in the best way! Looking forward to seeing how this turns out smile

Out of interest how much was the original car?

Not quite, but in a similar vein, we are taking a wicker picnic basket with china plates and crystal glasses for lunch on track days! I will be practicing driving with pinky extended so as to be ready for tiffin as the sun goes over the yard arm.....

Most important modification done today......

Have to say that this is up there with the Lexspace for being inspirational.

Few questions,

Will you cage it, is the shell fairly still being a quality product or fairly flexible ?

How does the brake cooling work, just like a racing truck ?

Do these have an LSD as standard ?

Is there much you can do with the engine to up power ?

You should paint this in Hesketh racing colours. It has the same kind of vibe as their F1 effort.

Absolutely fking ridiculous. A total waste of money.

Great work thumbup

On a serious note: yes it was a tidy road car. Sell the parts you remove, at 'mates rates' if need be. Then you'll be helping to keep others roadworthy and the whole project is worth while for a number of reasons.

Also, as for DEBRA - good man.
+1 DEBRA is the charity that gets my support too. Horrible illness.

I agree, the car looked too good to strip.

Still can't fault your choice for being different.
Again I concur, utterly crackers choice!
I agree, a crying shame it's been ruined in my opinion.
