How come you got rid of the other Brembo callipers?
There was a problem with them. The outside pistons kept sticking and caused the pads to jam onto the disc.... obviously not ideal. It hasnt cost me any extra so no bother. The TTRS/DB9 calipers are hydraulically the same as the others so the braking is the same. Also the old brembos, the pad did not sit 100% correctly on the disc, where as these sit perfectly.... literally 100% of the pad is over 100% of the disc.

Great car! Following the thread with interest now, I asked where you got the SS tyres from over on the gti forum. I've never been in an Eddy, but bought my R32 last year as it was too good to ignore, but I'd love a ride in an Edition 30 to compare, it must really shift!

Ahh hello... Yeah the SS tyres are bedding in nicely now, they grip very nicely indeed :-)

It does feel quite fast I suppose, It could do with an upgraded IC as sometimes it does suffer from heatsoak

Great car, really considered one but went for NA car instead.

Can the chassis handle all that power?

For the most part yes. There is no doubt that I would benefit from an LSD (£1800) if it was being tracked regularly but for road use it handles is very well.

Couple more bits on this...

Superpro ball joints to give more front camber...and poly bush front wishbone bush, so the front is now 100% polly bushed.

Also front H&R roll bar fitted.

Bilstein PSS10

Poly rear toe adjuster bush, as the OEM one snapped when adjusting it.

Terrible pic

Also had the intake ports and valves cleaned, as its on 92K now and these TFSI engines are prone to getting coked up.

It seems to be a bit happier now, and smoother on part throttle. It also seems to have fixed a very rough "cold start" problem I was having.

Thanks

Not sure on total cost. I think you could buy a car and mods to get it to the same spec now for about 15k
