Great looking car OP.

Apologies for a mini thread-jack. Is there any way of setting PH to ignore/block posts from users you don't want to see stuff from?
Thanks.

I dont know but I wish there was sometimes.

Glad to hear of the perma ban. Was getting far to VAG for my liking. The jokey, try hard attitude was way over the top. Attention whoring of the highest order.

Good, hopefully a slight tone down in the 'look at me' language used in his posts.

How did you find these day to day? I'm weighing this up as an option at the moment just during the summer but have only ever used them on track so no idea how quickly they will wear or if they will kill me when they're cold.

Very sticky in the dry. Mid corner grip is epic, almost negates the need for a LSD. Braking and braking feel are also vasty improved believe it or not.
Better than a normal summer tyre when cold so wont kill you.
They are ok in the wet providing its not standing water.
They are a bit noisey... sounds like all 4 bearings are on their way out. You get used to it though.

I would be running them again now, but 2 are shot and at over 200 a piece I cannot justify it. I got the ones i ran last year from someone who runs a exige so they were part worn and cost 100 quid a pair :-)

Cheers, similar to track feel then! Mine are part worns and the same size as an Elise and I couldn't believe how much difference the made in a track environment, they totally changed the car in that situation and make my road wheels/tyres feel horrible. Can live with the noise, mine sound like a jet engine under heavy braking into the hairpin at Bedford biggrin

Cool car by the way, I would love a grown up hot hatch that's built properly instead of a flimsy plastic stbox.

Thank you.

The app is called Dynolicous. I know someone whos got a Racelogic Vbox and reported that its very accurate.

Added this today...

Basically outputs diagnostic parameters onto the screen. Everything from timing advance to fuel rail pressure etc etc.
That's a cool feature anymore info on it?

Nice to see a Golf that hasn't been barried to oblivion. Lol at the "only 13.5 second 1/4 mile", I suppose the compromise for being so slow is being able to handle well, this will be a much better drive on the road than any of those air ride stboxes.
That incidently is how fast a stock Ferrari F40 does 1/4 mile too.....
