Did you take any pics when you stuck them on the car?

Awesome write-up as ever. Love seeing this pop to the top of the thread list.

I can attest that an old Fiat Panda 4x4 is a riot, not to mention a surprisingly capable offroader. If you find one without the dreaded rot, they are perfect for a tootle in the snow where certain other, more, er, Grigio, cars may struggle!

Mark, what if you do sell the wheels have you decided what you'll replace them with? I mean, you plan to put the CCBs on don't you, and I think I read earlier in the thread they won't clear the standard wheels?

I didn’t get chance. I had them fitted on the Thursday before the RT, then decided I didn’t like them so had them changed on the Friday morning of the day we left.

Thank you. I tried searching for one but they are nigh on impossible to find over here.

The standard 16M/Scuderia wheels (the 16M wheels I have were an optional extra).

Bit random, but would you mind giving me a few hints on upgrading facelift/non facelift on a W203 Merc? (via PM or whatever?)

I have decided to embark upon a weight loss program on the car, and to start with I've treated it to some new seats.

They are currently on order but here is a sneak peak (not my photo):

Nearly new OEM Ferrari 16M seats in the correct Rosso leather to match my interior.

You sir are a legend. I just caught up with this thread, great story here.

Pics from the roadtrip are simply awesome, I've been doing Alpine trips every year for the last 6 years and I can not recommend them highly enough to any petrolhead.

Keep the thread going pleasesmile

Awesome read! Took PH to bring it to my attention! You look like you really ENJOY the car and that's brilliant - they are meant to be driven and enjoyed as much as possible IMO.

On the wheeels - we have the 16M rims on our Scud and love them (but my car is Giallo Modena) They really set the car off brilliantly and I would find it hard to go back to the OEM rims. The colour is like a "bronzed titanium" and changes colour in different lights (which you simply cannot catch with a camera) so I think they are the same as yours - did it really not go with your car colour??

Anyway great to see someone else so smitten with their Ferrari - they are such awesome cars and worth every penny! Can't wait to hear the next instalment in your blog...

Terrific thread OP - congratulations for your work in getting it exactly how you want it!thumbup

I've just read 15 pages in one hit and your attention to detail is superb - I'm sure yours is now one of the best examples around!

Love the colour combination, and especially the manual gearbox! I just can't imagine a road-going Ferrari without one (although I'll probably never own onelaugh)!

Looking forward to updates!
