Don't very often reply on here but have to say the work that you've put in here is brilliant and will put a lot of people to shame for not working on their own cars, including me to an extent. Did you have any help from mechanic friends or is it just researching on the internet as to what to do?

What are the plans for the modding? Car looks great as it is.

cheers mate
thought id do something with the interior , decided to skin my dash pieces and
all other trim in real carbon fibre kit was 50 quid and theres enough to do the dash bits and steering wheel centers , just wet flatted it tonight and added another layer of clear epoxy and it looks awesome smile
sanded it down added the basecoat then stuck the carbon on when it went tacky

working it on

first layer of epoxy

second

third

lol its hard to picture as its so shiny but i just need to flat it one more time then add lacquer , it does look mint in front of you..anyway these came

and these

so went and fitted them
before

after

fronts
before

after

had to roll my arch on the rear drivers..19mm socket wedged beetween inner arch lip and tyre after i heated the paint up a little, got mate to roll back and forward slowly ....it ****ing worked!! it now goes over big bumps without touching the tyre with 3 people in i know but paint is fine and didnt crack and it worked smile
going to fit euro tips tomorrow after work , and flat the carbon bit and finish it and start next bit smile

Awesome, I wouldn't even attempt an oil change on my drive for fear of cockups and you have had most of the car in bits on yours. You must have a mighty set of bks swinging between your thighs.

First time commenting on PH, only ever used it to advertise a car before, but visit the site daily. Had to sign in just to comment on this topic Clarkson22 you sir are truly talented and it's amazing what you've done to the m3, I've seen some awesome jobs in the past and this is probably as good as I've seen tbh (along with a e36 328i thread).

Would love to see the car in the flesh if at all possible (I work in Blackpool) I'm guessing you're at the BAE round Preston ?

Till this day it's a car I wish to own at some point bet it sounds ferocious!

hi mate , yeh bae in preston/warton , and thanks alot made me smile your comment, theres plenty more mods comming along shortly , just need to sort them stupid wheel spacers , they rub on full acceleration and on dips in road , just ordered the thicker rear spring pad should raise the car 10mm at back ...so should be fine , will update when i get my euro tips on tonight as weather is really good smile

No problem mate I look forward to the updates, I'm a sucker for BMWs especially ones of the N/A era and the e46 m3 is up there as one of the many greats. Hope it works out and hopefully get chance to see it in the flesh soon.

Watching this thread aha!
