Some updates and work for the long winter smile

I would have to respray her and weld some rust spots but then something better happened smile
There was a 156 v6 y.2003 for sale imported but never registered so couldnt be legaly on the road.
I bought it as it has a lot of nice things i could sell and have a clean shell to swap my old one.

selling some bits already

i found a bargain coilovers bilstein b14 pss so i can finally get rid of my koni sport kit (one was leaking badly over a year)

The old shell is still in action smile
Friends invited me to autoslalom, i quickly changed front schocks to bilstein coilovers and action!
Car is fast really fast and stable, i could get on podium if i could make 3 good runs. Well no luck as the best run (on video) wasnt properly timed (tech error)
I'm still very happy because it was a great day smile

Nice work, full respect to you for fabricating your own parts. I track day my V6 156, do you have any problems with the manifolds cracking after wrapping them? Im after those floor to subframe strengthening plates, does the plate just bolt up to the subframe using existing bolts/holes?

plates bolt to one bolt of front arm and two holes on subframe (mine didnt have them)on the chasis i welded strenghtening plates and taped M10 thread in.
I have to fabricate a lot of pieces because they dont exist or are very expensive.
Manifolds are ok (for now smile )

Impressive stuff, I think the 166 deserves its own thread, always thought the 2.4 had lots of potential.
