Alfa is a little battered. Will look better in new shell.
Impreza is serious piece of kit, fully forged 385bhp, and it's painted like that. Looks the business in real life smile

Good thread.

My classic Impreza is 1180kg/355bhp and its fairly decent performance on the track. I want to go over 500bhp with a rotated turbo to really get the lairy performance I've experienced in other Impreza's.

Love the thread and I'd like to see more!

Looong time no posting. She still lives in an old shell.

I upgraded the tyre-wheel setup to 18" and 9,5" width. Used slicks in 265 18 are quite cheap because they are used in btcc.

Went on karting track again (small speeds more like handling course) with 250 yoko advan slicks front and 235 dunlop rear.

She has fantastic mechanical grip now and i was surprised when i saw the time 52.525

i did a modification on top mounting to get less camber (before -3.5 degree now -3)

madmax haha

Great noise! Shame second gear wasn't a tiny bit longer...

I like the solution to camber adjustment, does it hold in place ok? It must be a lot of work on those tracks changing gear!

it holds totaly fine.

Another confirmation that i'm going in the right direction, grobnik track last sunday. Made my personal record, over 5.5sec faster than previous (mechanical grip and new asphalt that gives 2sec cca)

Looks like it is a bit unstable braking into fast corners, brake bias a little too far forward?

As we say in England, ‘I take my hat off to you’!!
Absolutely blistering build Alan, the workmanship involved is way beyond my capabilities and I can only congratulate you as others have done.
One of the few threads I’ve bookmarked so that I can follow your progress!
Bravo, Sir, bravo!

Long time no update, but something is happening smile
There was a timeattack on some local track and i can be quite happy smile
Third time overall (100 cars) first was peugeot 306 hillclimb car sequential gearbox etc... second alfa 4c with a lot of suspension changes and mods, after me there were some evos 400bhp and hondas etc...

Thanks!

And finaly i decided to do a rollcage, but ofcourse to make life harder i want to take enough weight out to not gain any total weight, even harder from 1050kg i want to get to 999kg with cage installed smile
Will i succeed?
Firstly lighter and only one seat:

and some mocking up of cage

oh and what is this? smile
