Your car looks fantastic OP,

Just picked up my DC2 and I hate to say it but in terms of looks yours is basically where I want to get mine... Amber indicators, nice wheels, and clean.

You have excellent taste!
Thank you very much for the lovely comment mate! Makes it all worth it seeing comments like that smile

If I can help at all with your new purchase just let me know!

I took the DC2 out from hibernation on Sunday and went for a drive and some pictures.

Ended up being out for 5 hours, and here are some of the pictures:

That looks incredible, did you get it to that location in bubble wrap & cotton wool?! biggrin

My DC2 seemed to attract dirt like nothing else, if I wanted to get any decent photographs I had to actually wash it at the desired location! Or in the case of my black (currently brown) ATR just not bother washing it at all hehe

Loving it on those wheels too, really suits it. My God I want another again now.

Excellent pictures and the recent bump in DC2 threads has really made me want one. They have aged really well in my eyes whilst still giving that wonderful 90's coupe look.

Looks fantastic in the pictures, a lot of effort and £££ has clearly gone into your car.

I sold my second one last year and they really are a huge amounts of fun on the twistys.

I've had a couple of 98 Spec JDM DC2s as I never really liked the look of the front of UKDM... but this is the nicest UK DC2 I think I've ever seen. Well done fella!

To my eyes, the UK version looks SO much smarter than JDM.

Thank you so much for all the comments guys, really does mean a lot after putting in so much effort over the years! smile

Regarding why it's so clean in the pictures, my second love after driving is detailing so it's regularly cleaned and waxed even when it was being used daily. My neighbours think I am mad but I really enjoy it!

Those pictures were after a 3 hour 'spirited' drive tongue out

Just a quick update regarding the car, I have a rolling road booked for April and Nurburgring in June and I needed a new manifold!

After lots of reading about which one to get, I ended up getting the Tegiwa TODA V2 replica as the original is the best manifold for a B series.

It won't be fitted for a while yet as I have a few work related exams coming up, and I have a few jobs to do to the car before it's ready!

- Clean Mugen filter.
- Remove wheels and adjust coilovers as front passenger side is a few MM higher.
- Full alignment.

It'll then go to TGM for a service and install the manifold and maybe fit a de-cat I have laying around!

Thanks again for taking the time to read,

James

Hey Guys,

Thought I would post a quick update, the manifold is now fitted along with a new set of front drop links and also had the tracking done.

The manifold feels a lot better than the 96spec, but I haven't had a chance to go for a long drive due to work!

Looks great!

Still miss my MR UKDM.

I actually think they look perfect slightly dropped on the OEM 15" white wheels...

I had mine remapped by Romain Levesque too. Made a huge difference. Extremely worthwhile if you are feeling flush
