Looks awesome, don't think I've ever seen a carbon black e46 m3 before.

Not CSL wheels along with all the other sheep... frown
They do look great, but there are better options IMO. The E46 shape really suits some less...usual wheel choices.

Yeah i can understand where your coming from with the CSL wheels but they do suit the car which is why they are so popular...

I have considered a square 18" set up instead, looked at a few sets, team dynamics, apexs, rota grids...

What i will more then likely do is aim to have csls for the road and a square setup for track days.

Still cant get my head around knowing which offset and visualizing how they would look on the car and getting the right tyre width for a 18" square set up though...

Small update, fitting a Geoff Steel Racing carbon airbox, getting it mapped with csl Smg software then will post my opinions when I can push the car.

Looks like the what I've gained in power has shown weakness in rear bushes so cars booked in to get poly bushes fitted a week on Saturday

Despite being the obvious choice I've not seen anything that looks as good as CSL wheels on an E46. In fact they look good on most modern BMW's and CSL 'style' wheels look great on other cars IMHO.

I know mate its a tough one, VMR VB3's look nice too, very similar to csl's but are more concave on the fronts...

I like this a lot, I was having a sly mooch at it on Sunday when you were at Kev's, love the AP's.

Also it sounds awesome.

Thanks mate, I'm starting lean towards making it more track focused now. Some nice APEX ARC-8 18s next I think.

Great pics, cadwell's probably my favourite track I've driven so far, love the goose neck and the chicanes after the mountain.

Yeah its a nice track, doesn't suit the m3s long gearing too well though. I want to try Oulton next, heard its similar but faster.

Little update been back at Croft again since last update heres some pics...

I've been spending a fair bit of money recently but its all been on maintance, its got to be done though. Car has just had 2 new bottom arms and bushes so now the front is as nice and tight as the rear.

I cant believe the difference in the steering it feels so positive now.

I have also replaced the two rear shocks with new dampeners from BC Racing as one was leaking...

Thanks to Martin (TrackM3) for suppling me with two new AP front dics as the fronts are well worn now. Excellent service ordered Saturday and they were here on Monday.

Its looking like i will need pads too...
