With the Eurocharge 'map, I purchased their 'MyGenius' box which allowed me to upload the map & reverse it back to standard as often as I wished. I also had 'maps for 95 Octane and 100 Octane. It worked really well and I would thoroughly recommend it, especially for 'standard' cars.
Few more quick question on this if I may (I'm considering similar myself and want to fully understand it)

While you can reverse it back as and when you like.. how / did you hide this from MB when servicing? Does it invalidate the warranty if they were to find it?

Also, if you has a map turned 'on' and you had a crash.... upon investigation would having the map 'on' invalidate insurance?

Before the car went for its yearly service, I returned the 'map back to standard. When the car went in, I asked the service manager to inform me of any fault codes as I was interested in such things. He reported back that they found none and made no mention of seeing the 'map.

Regarding insurance, they were informed of the 'map.
