I couldn't decide . . . so I bought both!

Is the Boxster a 2.7 or 3.2?
For me the Porsche would feel more special and the engine is more useable without having the high revving nature to get the best from the S2000.
The flip side is that whilst the Honda has very bulletproof mechanicals the Porsche has the cloudy issue of RMS and IMS and if if does go you'll write the car off at that age.
In an ideal world I'd get a Boxster 3.2, spend 2k having the clutch, IMS and RMS sorted.

Being a Honda and Porsche lover - I'd love to hear how these two compare. Leaving badges and everything aside how do the driving experiences compare?

Porsche is for sale.
Ding ding ding, and the winner is . . . That said, all that was needed was a quick look at my profile or a squiz through the classifieds to find out. I love the Porsche, it feels a lot more special but not in a way in which I want this car to be used. My reason for the car is to have short blasts round the countryside enjoying the thrill and the Boxster always had me driving sedately and in a more normal manner. Whereas the S2k loves having its neck rang and begs for more - just what I'm looking for. And I'm not ashamed to add, the S2k is shabby whereas the Boxster is one of the best examples I have seen of this age.
The Honda will stay and a bike will take the Boxsters place
