Mazda MX6 bargain basement...
Discussion
Well after a quick scan of ebay i've managed to end up winning a mazda mx6 for the pricely sum of £260. Ill be using it as a work hack mainly but hoping to make it a nice clean Oem example, the total opposite of my e36
Going to collect it on monday, if anyone has any tips or things to look out for please tell me

I had one of these for about a year, and I'd love another one if I could find one locally!
It was a very comfy car to be in, if a little basic, but I really liked it. Mine was a bit tatty throughout but was mechanically good, and only came to an untimely end when I unwittingly dropped a small washer into the block when changing the rocker cover gaskets. Not that I knew this until I started the engine and heard the horrible clunking / grinding noises though.
Do you know if it's a UK or Japanese model? IIRC the Japanese models had a few more horses under the bonnet than their UK counterparts.

Found a picture of my old one (excuse the iffy filter on it!), the picture doesn't really do it's tattiness any justice though! Silver door handle, scratches all over, drivers seat bolster ripped and spilling foam, and I think it had some rust in key areas, but I loved it for the short time I had it and I don't recall any issues with it other than a leaking rocker cover gasket.
