Very nice OP and I think this is pretty much my favourite BMW at the moment and extra kudos for going for the manual driving

Enjoy it and have fun and I love those M performance exhausts too as I believe they make such a nice difference to the sound. biggrin

@Chr1sch - I have looked at some other BMW press shots with the brake upgrade and the discs all seem to be facing the same way, if someone else knows more about this please let me know?

@Driver101 - I didn't go for it, and don't ask lol.

@toon10 - Standard option at no extra cost, coral red.

@cerb4.5lee - Before the m135i I had a merc which was automatic.... never again!!!

Pics of the gloss black roof wrap (this Thursday) to come, wondering whether I should get some 12mil spacers added to bring the wheels out slightly. Not sure if it makes that much of a difference, and spacer are not something I have added before, anyone know if they really make a difference to the stance of the car?

Very nice - I think I would have gone for the de-badged look but that's just me. Those wheels look great.

As for the brakes, the grooves going the way you have them will just make them a bit more aggressive on brake wear.

Is that Alpine White?
Were you not tempted with Metallic Mineral White?

I added 10mm spacers to my Cayman and it made a massive difference to the stance.

I think the M235i would benefit from this. Just don't get carried away...

Any negatives with spacers? I saw a thread it at one point it looked like part of the spacer (the dust cap I believe) had to actually be glued on. Is that going to cause problems, and also who does the fitting, local bodyshop?

Mineral White is nice, but it's kind of pearlescent so I was worried it wouldn't go with the black - plus the only reason I got this car was because I saw one (without the brake upgrade) on a forum in alpine white, and loved it straight away

I'm not sure about the specific fitment for your vehicle but safe to say glue shouldn't factor in the equation.

Buy quality and go for hub-centric items. If you can remove a wheel you should have no problem fitting yourself. Hub-centric will make this easier.

It could fk up the handling, but likely won't make a huge difference in practise.

LOL, would of been a worthy upgrade if it did. Nah, 320 brake takes care of that smile
Good.
As you can tell form my previous questions, I'm not one for stickers and badges (I ordered my M135i debadged but it came with them on, they're still on at the moment) but I do really like some of the other parts. Not familiar enough with the standard 235 to know exactly what's additional, but definitely like the look of the wheels.

Yes, it was very cathartic. I don't much want to hijack this guy's thread but you know what you did. Let's pretend your response makes sense, and move on.

Sorry OP, I think the car looks great.

Nice OP - I have had the experience of a BMW performance M135i DCT and that was great on the autobahn (sports exhaust too and BMW remap).

I personally would have spent the money on an LSD, BMW remap and lightweight 19" wheels with a bit more rubber.

Take a look at the Versus performance from Germany - 408PS, BBS alloys... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2JBpa5ZBng !

Just my preference to performance; not that it matters of course! It's lovely all the same, enjoy. Especially like the interior.
