The gear box does rev match and it's very smooth, personally I love driving and a drivers car without a manual (I've had an auto merc before and regretted it) wouldn't be complete for me personally!

I didn't realise the manuals rev matched on downshifts. Can you switch it off? Half the fun of driving a manual is a bit of H&T surely?
Car looks fantastic btw. I'm very envious.

£150 in total, really chuffed with the job too. PW Pro did it, would highly recommend them

I thought you could get a manual gearbox that rev matches on downshifts in the new Cayman? Im not sure why you would want that, surely you are picking the manual for the interaction?

Echoing other comments the 235i looks fantastic OP!

Nice looking cars and a bit of carbon bling never hurt (apart from the pocket!)
However i'm not sure about them wheels!
LSD is a must IMHO
I've got a manual 335i, remapped to 350+ with LSD. The before and after having an LDS (Quaife) fitted is like night & day... Well worth the £1275 it cost me www.birdsauto.com however it looks like they don't do one for the 2 series just yet... worth keeping your eyes peeled for when they do as it'll make a big difference to the car!

£1275, is that inc VAT?

Usually it's around £1500 plus fitting. If I could get it for 1275 with VAT and fitting it would be done already (would mean the actual diff is less than £900, cant see it myself)

£1440 inc fitting from AmD

That's what I thought. I've been quoted £1318+vat for mine (a 550i) and this case the diff is cheaper at £876 + vat. Hence £1275 seemed a good price!
