Looks good. An EP3 is on my bucket list at some point as they're really good vfm now - perfect for a second car.

Got to say though, you're soooooooooooo wrong about the tyres. I had NS2s on my old Octavia vRS. OK to start off with but once they had a few thousand miles on them of normal driving they were borderline scary in the wet.

In comparison, had Hankook V12s on my 330I and they were excellent tyres. LOADS of grip in all conditions and came well thought of on various BMW forums.

I have had EVO V12's fitted to my Civic for a few years now, i think they are a great mid-high range tyre at about £100 a corner.

Strange, I really thought they were aweful both in the wet and dry compared to my bridgestones/continentals/ns2s, they wernt low either they still had 4mm all around when I took them off. I just didn't feel comfortable taking a corner at high speed with them at all, they even let out tyre squeel at reasonably low speeds around round abouts where all the other brands I've had have been fine. I would happily rate all the tyres I've had apart from the v12s.

I went with NS2s as a friend reccomended them, initially I used to laugh at Nangkangs myself, but I've also been out in a friends car with NS2-R semi slicks and was impressed so I thought I'd give them a try before I got Toyos.

Took a few photos with some trees by my house today.

Coilovers have not arrived yet so no updates really, it hasent been cleaned in about a month but I need to do a full clean, clay, polish and wax for Mimms Honda day at bluewater in a couple of weekends. I'll be on the 'Civic Type R Owners Club' stand!

Well, yesterday was good. Basically im selling my civic for either an S2000 or a DC2, and I decided it was finacially beneficial to return the car to standard and sell all the mods on.

Sold the Recaros quickly and had major interest in the bumper, I had it custom made and it gets alot of attention from the owners forum, heres how it looks:

Had the Mugen grille and splitter smoothed in and the plate recess deleted with a DC5 style nose point added, cost me alot of pennies basically.

And heres how it looked after walking home from a 14 hour shift at work, to find my car like this sitting outside my house.

Hit and run.

So I live opposite a school, went straight in and spoke to the head teacher as the parents park like absolute muppets so I assumed it would be one of them, she sent a mass email out appealing for witnesses, and someone came foward late last night.

Apprently the woman in an A Class reversed, heard a crunch, thought she hit the kerb 'BULLstE' and drove off, I got her details and phoned her up, shes coming over at 2 today to sort out insurance. Just a massive kick in the teeth when im trying to sell the thing and then this happens. When I phoned the woman she thought it was funny and kept laughing, and this was getting my blood boiling so I had to tell her to come over in person or I would have started shouting down the phone.

I havent yet contacted the police, I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, i'd prefer for it to be dealt with without insurance because I just want to sell it asap and would prefer not to have to wait to have the bumper repaired, if it even can, i'd prefer her to just give me the money I was selling the bumper for and thats it, but if she wants her insurance to deal with it thats fine.

So in conculsion, yesterday was a crap day.

Sorry to hear about the hit and run. People are scum sometimes.
Had my back bumper literally destroyed by a hit and run whilst I was out shopping.

Well they came foward and knocked on my door admitting it, and are paying for damages so im not going to involve the police or insurance or anything, so at least there are some good people left in the world!

May as well have some fun with it untill it's fixed anyway.

Really nice Ep3! Think I've seen that damage photo on Instagram this morning, but at least it's being repaired. You settled on what the replacement will be yet?
