Right its about time I made a thread about my car after lurking without an account for a while.

I've had it for about a year and a half, it was 100% standard when I first got it but not quite so much anymore.

First mod was to paint the insterts of my headlights black

I then fitted a Spoon N1 style exhaust with a un-silenced centre section, along with some gold lower control arms and gold beaks bar. I also fitted some 12x6 numberplates.

I then got my wheels refurbed satin black:

Painted my dash from silver to black:

[/URL]

Fitted some ABP Eibach 30mm springs, I also have a hardrace rear camber arms and eibach front camber bolts so when I fit my new wheels and eventually coilovers i'll fully set up the geo of the car for fast road/track.

Mid fitting

Arty-farty pic of the interior with a Skunk2 neo chrome gear knob

A friends buckled genuine schmidt alloy after a van forced him off the road.

Said friends little saxo on throttle bodies

Another mates puma powered fiesta, he now has a civic EG he is building a B16 for however.

It was about now I realised that I really liked this whole 'modding' thing and started spending a bit more money, first of all was a custom fully smoothed Mugen front bumper, with the grille, splitter and plate recess all smoothed in, along with a Mugen spoiler.

Got myself some EK9 Recaros

I then picked up a Seibon Carbon Kevlar bonnet for silly cheap

Took another arty-farty pic of my mates fiesta

Then after about 6 months of deciding I finally bit the bullet and ordered a set of Rota Grid Drifts in 17x9 et25 in Hyper black.

HOWEVER.. annoyingly, I got a phone call from the company I ordered them from who told me Rota now refuse to import this colour to the UK anymore, so I had to choose between white, flat black or bronze. I chose bronze as I'd had black and white in the past. Im planning on getting them fully mirror polished after winter though.

Future plans are:

Fit my new wheels, with much pain and arch-work.
Get coilovers on and setup.
Jackson racing supercharger.
More I can't be remember/be arsed to list.

Hopefully my wheels will get here next Wednesday.

I like where you're going with this. It does look a little awkward on the standard wheels so the Rotas should make a big difference.

Oh I do! The current engine is perfectly healthy on 120k will full honda history, but my plans are to buy a new K20a with from a DC5 or JDM EP3, with the LSD box included and rebuild, it while im waiting for an excuse to take my standard engine out. But it'll either be on the TDI North throttle body kit being released next year, or have a little wine from a supercharger. Supercharger would probably see me to near 300bhp with the right supporting mods such as a new inlet/exhaust manifold and a good closed air box, but I just like the idea of throttle bodies, the power would be less, but the noise would be more haha.

Nice write up mate, supercharger will transform it. Keep up the good work.

I like the wheel choice, and actually think bronze will look better than black! I may be biased though wink

Random, was driving to BCA Paddock Wood earlier and saw that white CRX, looks nice. Driven by a girl.

Your Civic looks well, I'd go for throttle bodies, the noise is just amazing.

What do the new control arms and beaks bar do?

I assume the arms are lighter weight and the beaks bar is sort of like a brace bar?

I own an EP3 but all I have added is an induction kit and a master cylinder brace, don't want to do much more other than drive the bks off it.

In all honesty nothing. The bushes in the arms are slightly better but the beaks bar attaches to 2 hard points so its really only there for looks. Looks great at night when someones behind you and their headlights are making it reflect though! Im also considering to change them all to silver to match the rest of the car and make it look a little more clean though.

In all honesty if Halfords sold Genuine Honda Recaros/Spoon/Mugen products i'd be shopping there more. Some people like to stand out a bit. I like my cars to have a sensible drop and some nice wheels too rather than being able to fit my head inside the arch gap and wheels that look far too narrow for the car.

Yep, didn't notice for a week or two after I got my wheels refurbed. Said set of wheel nuts in the picture are in the bin now anyway as they turned out to be fakes of a good brand so I didnt trust them. I've got a set of forged steel ones im saving to put on with my new wheels anyway so im not too fussed.

I've got a day off work today so it's arch rolling time smile (Getting a professional to do it though, don't trust myself to not ruin the paint around the arches)

Cheers mate! You always get the odd few who don't like a car, but I did all the work for my own pleasure and im not really fussed if people don't like it biggrin

Got my arches rolled today by Carbon Motive, they did a great job!

Also checked out my exhaust while the car was in the air, couple of scrapes on it to be honest.

I have to say the fitment of that Seibon bonnet is shocking, I thought they were supposed to be top notch but seeing that has changed my opinion somewhat.

I quite like it other than that, I fancy one of these myself.
