Interesting read mate! I'm looking at getting one myself soon as intend to use it as my only car (I'm only home at the most on the weekends so an everyday car it is not)

Keep up with the updates I hope to join your club soon smile

Nice work, sorry to hear about the clutch failure, at least you got it sorted now by the dealer, rather than 6 months later and having to shell out yourself. It isn't a particular weak point AFAIK, just one of those things on older cars I guess.

The really good thing is that you've had enough of a drive to feel how good the chassis is smile

As far as I can tell from the owners' club, they don't rust as badly as most 90s Japanese cars, and when they do it's often due to leaks around the tailgate rather than external factors, so I wouldn't feel too bad about using it if I were you. I find traction is pretty decent (on AD08s), even on wet slippery roads you can use most of the power.

How comes? Is it not a feasible expensive or do you just not gel with it? I was hoping you'd have a long and trouble free experience with lots of picture updates. smile

I want to get back into Motorsport, and keeping it isn't really feasible if I want to do that to be honest.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great car, but it doesn't give the same buzz competitive Motorsport does.

Have you thought about keeping it and doing track days instead? I know it's not quite the same but still...I imagine it's great fun on track.

Ot store it away and wait for the £££££ to roll in.

Nope. Oil pressure sensor went but that's been replaced.

Shame Dan, but better to have loved and lost and all that.
